Excellent job! Getting it done!!!!!
Nice car I saw your last thread "close to going racing", What was the engine temp at the end of the run?
Just curious. We are going to methanol and considering a smaller rad. But one piece front with no grille opening. We always had an open front.
Also did you use Tungsten Disulfide with your build?
Over the weekend we had an engine make 860 to the tire. It was built using tungsten disulfide and the piston and head were coated with Cerakote. 67 lbs of boost to get the AFR's to 12.6. 4 cyl all wheel drive. Could not get enough heat in the cylinder to fire.
Your car looks nice. Love the SB. There is only one thing that I saw that you should change . That hill leading to the trailer door. That would scare me.
Looks like you whittled it down a Lil! That's pretty rippin' ! Great Job!2nd time trial. Now it’s race time. And I remembered to record the run so being it’s doing ok I’ll check the data at home instead of here. And changes can wait. View attachment 1715920339
Das cheatin. LOLYa he and his father are both good friends. Matt participates in a winter practice tree group so they hit the tree all winter long

temperature was 172 pulling off the track and 170 at my pit spot. Usually especially at night I turn off the fan and pump to build heat driving back. I must be rich because I should build 6-8 degrees during a pass but I’ll leave it alone till I read the data.
Get 'er Done!Heading to second round.
The bottom line, you had a good time, didn't you ?
It's sounds like the car is working well.
I'm glad everything worked out for you to get back at what you love doing.
Drive safe. I worry about the others on the road.Yes I surely had fun. I didn’t think I needed short part today but it sure would have been nice. All loaded up and leaving soon. I’ll sleep good tonight because I didn’t last night.

I`m not familiar with 1/8mi times, what would that equate to at 1/4mi ?
Right on! Sometimes the old backroads , are the best way!Just got home. We have one closed road and one with major delays so I tried a route that I’ve never gone in 48 years to the track. It worked out great.

are you going to swap those edlebrocks out for your trick flows change nothing else it would be much more interesting than all those headflow comparison's on the bench
Just think how much faster it would be if you didn't starve your valve springs of oil, turned it 9000k rpm, and put some tungsten dioxide in there....bahahahahahahaMy Edelbrock heads are at this point a better flowing set of heads so I won’t be changing them out in the near future. I have a big money event the first week of June and joined points at keystone so I’ll be working on getting it consistent and getting healthier.

Nice, congratulations, I cannot wait to get that first pass this season under my belt but man things gotta start lining up better for me lol. I have to ask what was in the lane next to you that first pass?First pass in 18 months was a dozy. New engine and transmission I built, a converter just back from being freshened, and a brandy new APD alcohol carb that all I did was go down 4 jet sizes. I’m shocked at the very first pass.
