Minnesota is playing absurdly well !
Deep with powerhouse players like Fiala , Kaprizof , Zukarello , Hartman etc... Goaltending is great ... powerplay is dangerous .
They may have a chance this year.
 
The Avs will totally choke, I have been sipping bourbon this eve so my view is skewed. But were I to pick right now wild or Flames for the Cup. Tomorrow when I am sober I will make a much more intelligent pick. Honestly I think the Wild are to immature to make it even with the flower! Gotta love my Jets too! And well I mean seriously are the Hawks in? Hah! Hockey rules!
 
I think NHL playoffs is more a second season than any other. Goalie gets in the zone and nothing hits net

I think it used to be like that but with todays players skating and stick handling skills not to mention orchestrated plays goalies can only do so much .
 
Rooting for my Avs. Whole team is healthy for the first time.

Wa?are you kidding me? I will give you Brodeur tho! Hah! The Avs look pretty serious and I am not sure which previous post it was but they are healthy as a horse and peaking just right. They might be a serious contender. I really think the playoffs are going to be great this year. But I say that every year! With my Hawks clearly DOA I am just rooting for a great bunch of playoff games. Best sport on the planet! But man o man did the Hawks suck this year!
 
You got one of the best former players AND a very good President/Manager in Stevie Y. He will turn them around quick. Anyone that knows hockey knows he was responsible for 1 if not the last 2 Stanlet Cups in Tampa.

Hi Steve

I have not been on as of late (maybe 4 times since Jan) Stenosis (Spinal, lower back)
But I am able to watch some hockey lately and tonight TheLeafs looked real good, Real phukken good vs the 2 time Stanley cup winners of late.

I think they will have their work cut out with Carolina but if they get past them it's a 50-50 chance with the Avs.... Don't count out Florida as well...

Worst playoff hockey I’ve ever seen. Letting the officials decide the games is totally BS. Right around 50 penalties in four games tonight. Sad
 
I have no problem calling the game tight. As long as the calls are consistent, the players will adapt. I always hate it when the refs let the game get out of hand, it squashes the high skilled teams and allows weaker thug teams to win games when they should be getting their butts kicked on the scoreboard.
 
Bolts got a hard spanking and deserved it.

Despite getting healthy at the right time, they are also not playing up to par at the wrong time.

The last few games against good teams have been somewhat difficult to watch.
