How did we ever survive?

I could tell you some things that people now days would not believe but at the time just another day at the farm
 
We never ate TV dinners. In fact I never had Pizza from a pizzeria until I was 16, my mother made the only pizza I ever tasted and I live in the pizza capital of the country.
The 60's were a turbulent time
 
I never knew what a TV dinner was until I got married. They tasted like crap but you could live on them
 
I survived jumping people's fences to grab wild chinese plumbs, pomagranates, peaches, oranges, figs and anything edible hanging off a tree or vine.
 
I never heard of a restaurant, until I was older.
