I have been all over AZ and was struggling to place the scenery!
We picked Az just because we wanted a "western - south western" state that had good scenery on the plate. Besides, we had just got back from our trip through Az in our '77 RC. Also, in our state, we can have any states plates that are year correct to the car if we have antique plates. That is the case with a few of our cars. Our Rambler has '64 wyoming plates on it. We like the desolate states with pretty plates, so we use those if possible.

So I have not mastered youtube editing. Truth is that I really have not spent much time on it.

It's taking me wayyyyy too long so someone suggested to me to just post what I have, straight off the camera and learn better editing and add pizzazz as I go.

It's easy to get nervous when the camera is on.

Keep it up....let the words come out naturally. I never rehearse anything I do on YouTube....and I guess that shows.

Be yourself, and don't try and be someone you're not. Have fun.....loved the video.

Aussie or NZ if I remember correctly. It would take some to get used to for sure

That is exactly why I have been reluctant to post anything. I have even tried to minimize my accent but I guess the accent you are born with, just stays with you.

Thanks for the kind words, I have tried to blend in with the mopar crowd because I love my mopars like everyone here does, so I hope the upcoming videos will be of use or entertainment. :usflag:

@ screen name.

Forget that your talking for anybody. Think and do the video like your speaking with family. Enjoy the minutes that your doing the video like, as if your younger cousins suddenly got into the car craze and also discovered MoPars.

In prep of the video, think about how you want the video to be seen in your head. Do a few quick takes if need be and sort out in your head what you want to say and how you want it to be presented. In this I mean, is it a discovery video? Teaching, a check it out video where you just show off the latest car you acquired, latest work done, etc…

In my sig below, I have a link where you can see my latest 3 video on TQ carbs and a spreadbore Holley that someone asked me to do. There shot from my cell phone. No editing, zero Pazzaz , just roll the recording and go.

There not what I would call a high quality video and with no editing since I have no idea how to yet, it was half off of the top of my head and a one take recording. Though I did try a couple of them 2 & 3 times.

Click the link in the sig and you’ll see what I mean.

I drove a rented scooter in Freeport, Bahamas and made a left turn right into oncoming traffic once. They drive opposite US lane direction but o think they are stoll left had drive. Very weird. We were traveling in Spain back in 1990 and we did the same thing. Turned into oncoming traffic. Iirc they were opposite USA back then too.

Liked your 1st video Rainy. Spoken in the language of Mopar.

Grabbed a picture of your '74 Valiant 318 Spool Mount K-member setup off your video, to show a friend what a '74 K-member spool mount setup looks like.

He is doing a slant 6 to 318 conversion on a '74 Dart Swinger for another friend. Gathering up the parts kit now at the moment.

Thanks

So sorry for the confusion. That is a slant six k frame for a 75 dart. It looks like a v8 because the v8 mounts are just set on top.

I am cleaning up the slant k frame to reverse a v8 swap. My 75 dart was a slant car but someone v8 swapped it and now I finally found a slant k frame to return a slant to the car. (I know it's weird but I wanted a slant six late dart).

If you would like, I can post a pic of a slant six spool mount k frame side by side with a v8 to make sure he gets the right part.

How do you think we feel coming over to your side of the road...?
It took me a few hours the first time I visited USA.....driving was an adventure when learning in Long Beach, Ca, definitely a quick education. Only honked at a few times. :D

My birth country is India and they drive on the wrong side as well :poke:

I am not allowed to drive there when I go visit. I have been in U.S.A. all my adult life so I'm really used to banging gears with my right hand and the moving over to the fast lane in the left to pass everyone lol
