Went to Hoss's near my campground Saturday after the Carlisle show. Spotted this 70 Charger RT convertible 1 of NONE ever made!!! Very nice car looked like it was done well.

Cosmoline was a grease. My Grandfather's ol WW2 stuff was packed in that. But, hey, it's highly possible I'm wrong about parts being dipped in organisolYou're thinking of cosmoline.
