69 Dodge Dart GTS 383 Engine Colour?

I have a question for the members. Were all 1969 GTS 383 engines painted orange?

I thought 383s were turquoise.
But apparently not.

thank you for chiming in much appreciated! I had a fellow Mopar guy telling me yesterday ALL 69 GTS 383 engines were orange from the factory!
 
I would imagine the 2 barrel 383's were turquoise and the Carter and Holley 4 barrel equipt were Hemi Orange.

383’s with a Holly are Turquois
383’s with a Carter are Orange
i cannot verify the above. There is so much discrepancy out in Moparland.
 
Well, my friend had a new '69 GTS, 383 magnum , it was orange. Can't remember if the Plymouth Cuda was.

That would be me, and I am correct. ALL 1969 Dart GTS 383 engines were 330 horsepower stamped HP and are orange, no 2-bbl 383's EVER came in a Dart GTS of any year!

Hello Jim
Thank you for the information I did not know that all 69 GTS 383’s were Hemi Orange. Would that be the same for the 67 and 68 model year?
