I have a question for the members. Were all 1969 GTS 383 engines painted orange?
Thanks

383’s with a Holly are TurquoisI would imagine the 2 barrel 383's were turquoise and the Carter and Holley 4 barrel equipt were Hemi Orange.
Thanks for respondingWell, my friend had a new '69 GTS, 383 magnum , it was orange. Can't remember if the Plymouth Cuda was.
That would be me, and I am correct. ALL 1969 Dart GTS 383 engines were 330 horsepower stamped HP and are orange, no 2-bbl 383's EVER came in a Dart GTS of any year!Dana67Dart
thank you for chiming in much appreciated! I had a fellow Mopar guy telling me yesterday ALL 69 GTS 383 engines were orange from the factory!
