That anything like getting a dizzy feeling when on a roof just 9 ft off the ground Ray ?
I use to climb telephone poles, work off the side of a nuclear plant 125 ft up and never had a problem with hights, now I can get on an eight ft ladder and look up my head spins..

Hope the clouds clear and the sun pops out for you soon.

To be totally honest, all 18 to 25 year olds think they are smarter, more logical and we are cave dwelling old farts at times.. Hopefully they will pull there heads out of there haha soon.

Its almost a blizzard outside. Fetched the gas tank, now waiting for it to warm up a bit. Then get fittings off and pull pump out. Then upside down and prep/paint bottom of tank.

As soon as i was old enough i mowed and raked the yard. Grass clippings went into compost. Then over to granny’s house to do the same. She had a crank on top of the mower, wind it up and press a button. I never got paid to mow either lawn, just an allowance. In the fall i tilled a few gardens around the neighbourhood, i was into trains at the time, and model cars. Had a race track too. Did a lot of fishing as well, Assinaboine river wasnt far from the house. Carp and catfish mostly. Fishing here where i live now is way better, we had a cottage here from the 60’s to the 80’s.

Gas tank still needs to be painted, i did get fittings loose and pump pulled out. 1/2 a win. And plow truck is in shop thawing out.

And stupid me, found a itty bitty mini excavator on marketplace. Going to pick it up sunday if no one beats me to it.
 
Picket my jail bird son up for lunch today and told you before he is on work release. His boss after 2 weeks gave him a 2 dollar an hour raise. After doing that I went to get my hair cut and 2 guys ahead of me plus the one in the chair and after an hour the barber was just finishing the guy in the chair. :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: I still need a haircut but hell if I'm waiting that long to get mine cut. Think I'll cut my own hair and save me 35 bucks and waiting for hours. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Similar today for me Fred. 1st one I walked in, long wait.

Second one was busy but had more barbers working, so I got right into a chair

I have to drive 50 miles to the closest barber and only 2 barbers in town. One is a woman that does a shitty job and is ugly and keeps rubbing her hand across my leg. I'm serious here!
Other is a guy that is so picky he makes sure every hair is perfect.
I just want a decent haircut and not like restoring a car I'm ugly and just want my hair to be even on both sides and out of my face.

Been learnin to cut my hair this past year....well, at least trim it. Why pay someone else to fork it up when I can do that myself fer free!?
