Here it is. I made it an entire 3 months without a car before I couldnt take it anymore, LOL. I told my wife, No more kids, Dogs or Mini vans till my car is done.

Its a great starting point,. Dave (Moper) did all the hard work for me all ready so I dont have any rust repair to do.

The car is an original 318, auto FE5 Red Dart. Now has a 360, It all ready has 73 and up disc up front, A 8-3/4 with 355s and a sure grip and a o.d. 4 speed in it.

My plans for the year are to finish the prep work and paint it. I need to do the door jams, and some work in the engine bay then block the car out. I havent decided on the color yet but it will either be red, Hemi orange or Top banana yellow.

Great looking project car.Looks like alot of the hard work and parts is already done.Hope you have good luck on getting it on together. Matt

Looks like a good start, and yeah you got to love that all the hard stuff is already done. And you know when you ge the car bug it is hard to stay away. Hope you have many years of enjoyment with this one.

Congrats: Looks like a nice find. We've been wintering in AZ, and I'm really itching to get back to Washington to work on my Swinger, (end of March). Howard

Congrats on the new project. 3 months is a long time for a car guy to go without! Nice rim blow too!

wow three months without a car how did you even make it that long. Looks like a solid project shouldnt be to long before you get to start enjoying that one good luck Justin

I'm very happy to see that you came to your senses, enjoy it  Looks like it already has a lot of goodies, that makes it easier.

Very cool Adam.

Was just kind of wondering your thoughts on this car vs your Scamp, and why this car and not your Scamp?

Take care.

The Scamp was a real cool car. It was the most original rust free car I have ever seen and didnt really need much to finish but strayed away from my plan of a cruiser when I put the 500hp 340 in it. My wife needed a new car and I was getting stressed over it, so it went.

This car will make a great cruiser with the mild 360, the 355s and the o.do tranny. Plus the clutch makes it fun.

Well here is a pic of my project.I am at the paint stage, just waiting for the money tree in the backyard to grow.LOL.

It is pretty straight.
I took it off and put it on some saw horses and cleaned/buffed the crap out of it.

So Adam, is it finished yet or what? I mean ... you've had it for what ... like a week all ready? ;-) Congrats on the new project. It looks like you are way ahead of the game.

UPDATE: I just checked your other post and realized you just picked up the Dart yesterday. I'll be checking back in with you to see if it's done in about 5-6 days. ;-)

Great starting point. I'm sure getting ready of the Scamp was a sacrifice. How'd you deal with the withdrawal symptoms? Did you get the DT's? :)

Nice project car! That should satisfy the A-body cravings for a while. How about red, vinyl top staying?

Yes the top is staying. The car has an aftermarket sunroof that is going to vanish. I would leave it but it needs to come out to replace the headliner anyways so while its out I'll just patch the hole and cover it with a new top.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

I spent some time going threw the boxes of parts. Looks like most everything is there, though I am missing the passanger side header, LOL

I also pulled the dash out so I can do the wiper seals and fix the wiring from the groovy 70 Pioneer radi (fits in the stock radio hole) and the add on EQ.

I think other then the Dash pad, (anyone use a dash cap before?) Front seat cover, and headliner the interior just needs a good cleaning.
