It's only an hour and a 1/2 from home, I'm debating on rollin' in the 55 Dodge?

I'd love to take my '56, but with the factory 4.10's even with OD it doesn't like highways... it can do it, just doesn't like it. I have my brand new NOS carb ( not installed ) that I would like to reseal be fore I put it on. I don't think 52 years of sitting on a shelf has been kind to the gaskets. lol
I'm going to be there with my '05 Ram... amd the wife and 5yr old daughter.

I will be going to the Nationals. Come by row Y spaces 30 -33. I will have a bunch of miscellaneous (most A-Body) parts. We will have shade, seats and cools things to drink. We can all shoot the bull about our Mopars! See Y'all there!!!

Remember: It's Mopar or it's subpar!

Yes, I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Don't forget about Brice Rd, usally go until into the am.

Hell ya im ready for that part. Ive never gone to the nationals so this will be all new to me. I heard that lowes is going to let ppl do burnouts and stuff in there lot.

I have been to the Nationals every year from 1985-2006.In 2007 I went to Carlisle.Carlisle is the most organized show I have ever been to.Its to bad the Nationals don't have the Carlisle people running it.This year I will be going back to the Nationals in my 70 Road Runner. It still is a great show.
Jim

I can't go :-( but Jim, one of the organizers, welcomed a PSC Gift Certificate as one of the door prizes, and he's promised lots of PA announcements so listen for me!!!

Hopefully someone from FABO will win it. I love working for you guys.:love7:

ooooo do i miss the nats. The last time i was there was 2000. i loved brice road 4 lanes of mopar wooohooo got about 3 or 4 yrs on vidio. Well maybe next yr if i have the $. You guys have fun n take care.

They've been blocking it off to two lanes by the gas station down to I70. Every year it's been getting worse. Hate to see what this year will look like, that's why I'd like to check out Heath... I heard it's like Brice Rd was before.

I've been driving my Dark Metallic Green '66 Barracuda from Northern Kentucky for years (even to Indianapolis when they switched sites). I'll be in the Original Owner's section.

Heath IS the place to be on Saturday night, but I didn't make my reservation in time. Now I'm stuck downtown. POOP!

I have a friend who entered his race car & 2 people for the entire weekend. He paid $100. It costs $115 to enter a race car now. He got stuck in Texas with his work & can't make it. If anyone wants these tickets, I'm selling them for $65 (2 people & parking for the 3 day weekend - whether you have a race car or not this is a good deal). If someone wants 'em, drop me an E-mail & we'll figure out how to get the tickets to you (and the $$ to him). Otherwise I'll just sell them at the gate. I'll be rolling in on Friday morning.

We'll be there, it's still # 1 in my book as far as Mopar swaps, shows, and cruise's !! I won't be back to the Carlisle show again. The cops, feds or whatever they were can have my spot from now on. The MOPAR NATIONAL'S ROCK AND ALWAYS WILL !!!!!

My son & I are going on Sunday. Hopefully seeing some A Body Barracudas in person, will get me motivated again to work on our project. Been down & out lately, but I'm gettin back in the groove.

Wouldn't miss it. Trying to make a mental note of the above mentioned locations so I can stop and say hi. Always has proven to be a good time. Really looking forward to this because this is the first real car event i have been able to attend, and what's better, it is all MOPAR. Unfortunately this and the classics at Norwalk in September will probably do it for me.

:bs:

Your kidding right?? The Nationals is a joke compared to Carlisle! Everything is organized, set up well, and CLEAN ar Carlisle. The Nats is none of the above. The biggest concern for the sponsors of the Mopar Nationals is getting your money in their pockets! Once they have it, nothing else matters!

Well there ya go, everyone has an opinion, and I listened to several people just like you , who were hiped up on The carlisle meet, We went and llike I said, I'll never be back,(I keep waiting to see a scene from Carlisle swapmeet for BAD BOYS/COPS TV series ) Talk about a JOKE !!! NO I"M NOT KIDDING or JOKING, , SERIOUS AS CANCER ! ! That's just my opinion. The people at the Nats are great swap meet people, and we've always been treated right by the MOPAR people there. I've never missed one single National, and never will . THE NATS ROCK ! ! See all of ya there !!

I'm heading out tomorrow and picking the wife up late at the airport. Not taking any cars though, just looking for some ModTop material for her satellite. Can't wait though, the events are starting to increse her interest in cars!

71FJ, I haven't kept up on this but isn't someone reproducing the ModTop material (or was I dreaming)?

You must be Jim B's best buddy! You will never see me there again, and I know several other venders who feel the same. Highest prices of any swap I have attended, and the most unorganized. That hole is all yours! :angry7:

Just got back from the nats it was pretty sweet. Didnt take any cars but went threw all the vendors and the swapmeet and picked some things up. Only thing I seen is that some people were a little high on there prices but in the end I got pretty much what I wanted.

340 snorkel air cleaner with new 340 pie tin

Seen you guys cruise threw with your truck on the trailer also seen it at the strip it was setting down a little past 3 other lowered ram trucks that were from my area. We were sitting on the side of the road in heath watching the burn outs.

I drove the Hemi Duster from Plum Pa to the Nats again this year. Its about a 230 mile trip. This makes it 7 years in a row that I have driven to the nats. the first year I trailered it down there and that, to me is not any fun. Build it, drive it! Anyway, I think they could have cut the grass in the freaking show field!

I just loaded the photos onto the hard drive. It was the first time for me and
I thought it was a great show. Six of us went and all had a great time. We
brought a few parts home and made a lot of contacts for future projects.
The Challenger belongs to a friend and was on display in the "Best of Show Automotive" tent. A couple of Mopar Magazines are interested in doing an article on it. I don't think I've ever seen paint with so much depth and reflection. I've got more photos that I'll post later. toolmanmike

Here's a few more. Hey Memike, I took a picture of every Valliant I could find.
Wish you could have been there. Mike
