Paint!! With PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ross, I am just speechless. The Dart came out beautiful and I can't wait to see some pics in the sunlight. Tara did a great job choosing the color as well. One question though. Are you sure you don't want to paint that silver stripe on? If not, any thoughts of clearing over the vinyl?
 
awesome colour man, your girlfriend has awesome taste! its stealthy but gorgeous at the same time...the silver will really make it pop...she's gonna have a blast in that car
 
Very nice paint. I can relate to the excitement of getting the paint done. My car is now my screen saver on my computer.
 
The paint has a great depth and color. Cant wait to see it finished!:cheers:
 
Thanks guys for all the complements. It aint perfect but as my teacher said "its a hell of a lot better then the last one" Each one I do it gets that much better.(and faster) My goal was to make a car that Tara could enter in a show and not be embarrassed but at the same time drive the s**t out of.

it also means a lot to see that the other body and paint guys like it. Thank you!

well thats a consideration I am not certain what I am going to do she wanted reflective silver but only house of kolors has reflective sliver and I didn't have the money. I am on a tight time (and buget) schedual unfotunally.
Right now it looks like it will get a silver vinyl strip and I will most likely clear it, nothing is set in stone yet.

not that far. Thats what I am going to be doing this summer/fall before I ship out. let me know if you are serious.

yha I would like to have a look. I am joining the USCG, I'm going in as E3 (eagle scout and 65+ college credits) and as long as I score a 75 or higher on my asvab I will be going to amt school, it shouldn't be to hard to do.

I am waiting 2 more quarters (I am getting all the paper work out of the way now so I can mentally and physically prepare myself) so I can finish my degree in auto body.

Right on. good luck to you. I was in the Navy for 4 years. Had a good time. I would think the Guard is much the same. You will make a little more money going in as a E3 but not a lot. It will be much more quicker to make E4 though, so that is nice. So you are going to be a pecker checker. Don't have to much fun.:toothy10:
