try heating the low bracket up and hammering it to the upward position easier then making a piece for the bracket

It's all a Lokar set up.
It required the following part numbers to complete;
TC-1000HT Throttle cable
KDP-2904HT 904 kickdown cable
SRK-4000 cable bracket and springs
Heres a shot of the parts with a home made adapter plate cut from thin aluminum since OE carbs can not use the set up as is but later Edelbrock/Federal Mougal or Holley carbs can.
Note the painted orange part places the hook up points right where the adapter brackets points are. (The adpater bracket for Holley and Edelbrock carbs that are not MoPar spec linkage.)

It’ll work on anything period. Boat, plane, go cart, toilet bowl, yup, I just said that and I’m not joking. I could even hook it up to a toads *** and it’ll work great.Sorry to revive old thread. What year did you install this Lokar set up on? Wondering if it will work for early A body

Your welcome. The distance from the throttle cable attaching point and the trans cable mounting point is the same distance AND angle at the Edelbrock Chrysler throttle arm adapter. That should help you with the size and shape of the red plate I made.Thought so just wanted to check. That is the exact setup I plan on ordering. Thanks for the help / advice
