Found a source for the rotors for the two piece KH brake rotor/hub.

what bp? what source?

Small bolt pattern. The hub has to be separated from the rotor. Since the studs are swedged in you have to be carefull not to break the hub. Better to have a machineshop do it. You'll need new studs installed. The rotor/hub is then truely two piece with the rotor being loose. The wheel and the caliper keeos the rotor on. I'll try and take a picture.

Here's a pic

Thanks for posting this info. Could you answer the following questions?

1) The rotors have been available for some time, but not the hubs. Did you find a new hub source, or did you have to re-use the existing hubs?

2) If you found a hub source, for the benefit of everyone with the SBP K-H factory setup (installed from late 1964 through 1972 on many A-bodies), could you post contact info. for the hub source?

3) Could you post the exact steps followed in the process of installing the hub and the studs to the new rotor?

4) Could you post the exact type, source, size (length, etc.) info. on the studs used?

Thanks once again for your good work on this important topic, especially those of us sticking with the factory SBP K-H setup.

Yep, you done good, I'm bookmarking this one.....

Summit lists 2 rotors:

Calipers:

RockAuto for the studs, the caliper rebuild kit, or a loaded caliper:
DORMAN Part # 610130

{AutoGrade - Boxed #2768028}
Front Right; w/Front Disc Brakes

This place has the caliper lines and other parts:

There is always SSBC for the calipers as well, and they sell complete KH kits that use the Mustang KH rotors - makes it easier in the future to replace parts.

Will these really work with A bodies?

Found this Ford rotor on RockAuto, same outside diameter:
RAYBESTOS Part # 6072R {Professional Grade; Outside Diameter 11.04" / 5 Bolt Holes}
Front; 4700 Lb GVW; Power Brakes; 4600 Lb GVW

I was just looking at rockauto and they have raybestos calipers. Are these replacments made by raybestos or are they KH rebuilt by raybestos? Anybody use them? Thanks Greg.

bumnround-I know johhnydart posted some pics of his and they look super nice-somewhere on this site, and they are most likely KH rebuilt by raybestos as I doubt they would repop something like this but you never know...

I have the tool kit that crimps the wheel studs back onto the rotor I will post pictures of it tomorrow
