Great pics, thanks for sharing. Your car was one of the ones that stood out the most. I was just wondering..... i see the plum crazy challenger is right hand drive. Was it sold new in Australia? I thought all cars in Australia that were driven on the road had to be R.H. drive or converted before allowed to do so. Or is it the rule only if it was sold new there?
Just curious.

Beautiful !!

Question: I have noticed (and you have one in your pics) black steelies on back..shiney on front ..why ?

Ian.

Hey Dartnut,

Thanks for the comments on the Duster. Can't wait till my 383 driveline arrives. The Duster with Big Block will be the ultimate for me.

That plum crazy Challenger would've been converted many years ago. The laws have changed in Australia in recent years. Basically, if the vehicle is 30 years or older it does not have to be converted to right hand drive anymore. We don't need any kind of special registration either. It's great! It's a little weird at first driving left hand drive on left hand side of the road but once you get use to it, it's great fun!

Ian.

Hi Ian, it's more for that nostalgic look running big rubber on black steelies and then shiney's on front. Ive seen a few pre '65 Mopars with that look over here.

That would probably be for drag racing..even though we have a few tracks here, it seems like the sport is much bigger in the 'states..that makes sense to me.

Thanks
Ian.
