Did you mount it to the block or the head? The 2 lower holes on the drivers side of the timing cover/block area, do go into an area where coolant will come out on an la motor. Pretty sure they are the same deal on magnum.

NHRA tech is a joke. As is NHRA. I was a tech for a long time. They are all about themselves. Look at the fit they threw when the "not sanctioned race" was run. azzes in the seats. NHRA should have went under long ago and Force and those other guys should have bought it.

Whether 8.25 or 9.25, the axles are c clip type. I asked Dr Diff about axles for a 9.25 and i think he told me 500.00 for the pair. Not sure the other axle makers would be able to make them. A lot of guys use 8.8 exploder or dana 60. Easier for a dana 60 as you can sell it later. My 2 cents, but...
