    Vin trouble

Check again. The fifth digit is the engine. There's no engine coded as a "0". Probably a "C", indicating a 225 slant six.

Factory hydraulic roller set up on an older block?

Your pic didn't show up for me, but I think that is a Ford block in the video and the spider is an aftermarket piece from Comp cams. Process should be pretty much the same for a older Mopar block using the later factory parts though. But I doubt it is a straight drop in. You would need to...

    Alignment Help

There are “toe plates” sold by a few places. You place them against the tires and use 2 tape measures, one front and one rear. When we were younger we used 2 pieces of alum box tube on milk crates for height with 2 tapes. Did the same thing as the toe plates.

Is it the same for a hardtop and a convertible? I think I have a hardtop set in my stash, I can check this evening.

    Vin trouble

Well, first off, you know there's no such thing as a 1968 Plymouth Volare. Volares were around from 1976 to 1980. So I'd suggest you start by finding a better vin decoder. The only difference between an Aspen hood and a Volare hood is the nameplates and trim on it. The hoods themselves are...

They were putting in new service in our area last fall. It was free to run it up to house but don’t have to sign up while they were in the area. I have a ways up driveway, across front of house and around the side. They screwed up the yard doing it and now I’m fling in with black dirt and...

Solid rollers with off set push rod hole issue.

Can't tell exactly if that damage is on the nose of the cam or the front or back side. From the pic, it looks like what we would call spalling which is due to excessive Hertz stresses from too much spring pressure for the material and/or incorrect or insufficiant heat treat. For example, iron...

The stuff I used was clear. The ants we got went for sweets. Apparently different ants are attracted to different bait. Weeks seems like a long time.

    My 340 getting 6 mpg

I didn’t mention it because if it takes that long to seat the rings the engine will never produce the power it should. A properly finished bore will seat the rings in 5 minutes. You can see it on a blow by meter. The idea that it takes XXXX miles for an engine to seat the rings is another one...

Make yourself one of these. It can be held to almost any rims with springs or small bungie cords.
