    Hood clearance Question

367 here with Eddies, an AG, and a 750DP. In run my cooling system at 207*, and run unwrapped TTIs. No boiling/no percolation; at least not in the short term. I run a one-piece 3/8 fuel-line from pump to carb, isolated and free-standing off the engine, but still runs in a similar to the factory...

With different compression ratios being brought up, what would be a good dynamic compression ratio for the 360 with a 4 barrel carburetor? It will be a daily driver and will need to be pump gas friendly. Cam, I don't know how to match that with the dynamic compression ratio.

I cannot disagree. I've used the Lucas Hot Rod literally for YEARS and have had no issues. I've also used a lot of the Lucas products and have friends who run professional repair shops that use it too and they all agree the products do what they say.

Some trucks still use leaf springs though so your snide comment is pointless. We still use aspirin. Paper maps will always work when your GPS on your phone craps out. Ratchets and sockets work long after the cordless tool battery loses it's charge. Progress doesn't replace everything. Print...

    cleaning up after mouse infestation

ABSOLUTELY. That is GOOD advice. I have seen many car shows on TV where they clean out mouse mess without masks or gloves. That is not very smart.

    Oil additives

Just because something is on YouTube, that doesn't mean it is true. I don't use oil additives, but I certainly would not let one internet video convince me that they were bad.

    Hood clearance Question

I think I agree with @GTX JOHN when he says the spacer may not be needed. I have a 69 Barracuda with a 340 built to about 375 HP. It has an Air Gap and an Eddy carb, and I don't have any fuel boiling problems.

    Tr6060 behind a small block?

Yeah the transmission will physically bolt up to the engine, but my biggest question/concern is going to be the flywheel/clutch setup as Dion mentioned. Dion, I found your thread yesterday about the idler arm interference. Fortunately I wouldn’t have an issue there since I’m running an HDK in...

    Tr6060 behind a small block?

Only one I know of has a thread on here and swapped the front plate, tail housing and main shaft so he could use an LS (I think) bellhousing. Not really what you are asking. The PS starter will cause issues, idler hits the starter hard. There is a fix, but it isn’t off the shelf. I have a...
