Stop in for a cup of coffee

Haven't had that in a long time. Always thought it was decent stuff. Lately I mostly get whatever the discount store has. The have a 'regular' localish one they always have, but get some better ones as well. I am overdue to get some good stuff from Mr Hotz... Good Morning

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Yeah I was slightly disappointed for sure but such is my luck. I haven’t heard from cold case yet but if anything I’ve got a good 10” fan picked out that I think I could run duals with. At this point I would probably draw up my own shroud in a 3D modeling solftware and make it. Would hope to...

Doug's headers not fitting - frustration

It's still ugly but now it's together, z-bar is in, torsion bars are slipped in, engine mounting is all tight. I managed to tear the lip seal on the coupler, I think the cap cut it when it was coming through the firewall.

Your warmer than most but its really the stroke (piston speed) that is the culprit along with low compression in most cases. J.Rob

400 is the same slug as the 383 should run even worse with a dumpr cam. I never built a 2bbl bigblock so? J.Rob

    1. Yes full service machine shop/dyno service. 2. I know this but 383 cubes is still 383 cubes. It's still a benchmark to highlight just how poorly the 383 performs. 3. NC 4. If it causes hate then thicker skin is needed--I was bored and responding to Nick's obvious confusion on where the...

If I see something that needs to be pissed on I piss on it. The 383 Mopar is just that in this case. Guess you don't like the truth--which is the same as piss. J.Rob

1968 Barracuda Trunk Trim Restored by PartsMonsta

I didn't mention any names in the video however several people here wanted me to tag him. If he is the same person as Steve Clair Young on Facebook well here you go.

Did the 1979 Lil Red Express come with an air pump?

I agree with Mr. Lusk as well. I thought the truck exhaust manifolds were drilled and tapped for the metal pump tubes. There was a small cover for the hole in said manifolds, with a gasket (I have one), when not used for an air pump IIRC. I didn't pay much attention to an engine after it was...

Thanks everyone, appreciate the feedback. I'm 66 now...but still kicking. JD my project Dart "Clive" was sold when I realized I have too much stuff. What is going on is I am clearing out my garage and installing a Trackman Golf Simulator in it. Can't be swinging a golf club and balls flying...

    Fuel gauge reading incorrectly

Have you grounded the wire to the sending unit? That should send the gauge to full.

    Fuel gauge reading incorrectly

You could be right, this is all French to me. I’ve got someone who knows more than me helping me with it, I’m upgrading the IVR and adding a Tach. Hopefully it gets straightened around, that car didn’t come with the original sending unit so I’m SOL if I can’t figure it out. I’ll be damned if...

    No more 392's

I had to get Roush emissions & fuel economy testing on a Ford E-250 with the 4.6, Chevy Silverado with the 5.3, and a Dodge Ram with the 5.7 Hemi. Testing started with stock readings. The company's product was added and all 3 were tested again. In the baseline phase, we did the Ford & Chevy...
