The ‘66 disc brake master cylinder is one reservoir but it had extra capacity added, so it’s a one year only odd part.
When I decoded the fender tag I did not expect that it was originally ordered with all the cool bits on it - I’d like to know if someone ordered it that way. It’s also a radio...
Morning!
Rain again. Going to not be any fun going to fetch a door hinge for Studebaker. Torches, grinder, sawzall, impact, drill, socket set and screwdrivers. Hammer and chisels. Oh, and a drill.
Just cooked up the last Australian beef half pound hamburger that I had. Burger with bacon and cheese and Dijon mustard. Will be at the airport within 24 hours . Might be ready for a nap..
I put Teflon tape on the threads for that reason. I was still getting small bubbles fairly constantly, I'm not sure if they were in the system or I had a loose connection somewhere or they were still pulling past the threads.
Very nice! The blue wheels match the body perfectly!
Question for you… can you direct me to a place or website where I can get touch up paint. I have a ‘72 Duster with a small chip on the top fender next to the gap between the fender and hood. I need to get that touched up ASAP.
Thanks!
What am I looking for when I drop the pan? I replaced the pan with a deeper aluminium unit when the transmission was installed less than 100 miles ago. I replaced the filter and fitted the Sonnax valves that allow the TC to fill in Park.
Remaining fluid in the trans when I got it was dark red...
The Regulator supply wire should be blue, same supply as the blue out of the bulkhead. In your drawing, it is labeled "green". But the green on an isolated field alternator goes back to the regulator, which controls the field strength.
My guess is that if the regulator is actually hooked up...
There are really no "user friendly" headers for a Mopar. I wish I had better news. lol I will say the Dougs are the best fitting I have ever tried, have plenty of ground clearance and can support probably 500HP give or take. IMO, they are fairly easy to install, provided you READ and follow the...
I'm in San Jose. I have a notchback. I thought I remembered an earlier post about that car being in a front end collision. I'd be interested in that rear window trim but I have a couple sets already, just looking for a better set. I've sold a few of those sets at spring fling and they're a...
No sweat, those manifolds are pricey. Usually around $500 range, and we're used from 68-71 340's I believe. 72/3 also had them but they were different numbers.
In my opinion less headache with manifolds vs headers.
I'm doing same thing, 340 into our 67 cuda.
Here's some glamours shots
Good luck.
He did. There was a staging debacle in the last round and they backed both cars out. @turbodart68 should have gotten the win. He was staged and on the transbrake for 9 seconds (we counted the time on my video) and the other car didn’t stage. But they had em re run it heads up 10 minutes later...
