My ring gear has 3/8" bolts.

Hoping you know that most any carb can leak at the shafts if pour fuel in it. That fuel lands on closed throttle plates making fuel seep out the shaft. Shafts are not air tight, and it doesn’t leak when running because there is a vacuum there normally.

Bob, are you sure that k frame is correct for the car? I don't know the history or even know what kind of car you have other than Mopar I assume, maybe others do but I don't.

That's a fairly new looking carburetor to have worn throttle shaft holes, but that sure sounds like what it is. A lot of times that's caused by too much throttle return spring(s), but it appears you have one that's not a monster, so that might not be it.

Nice parts, price is inline for that type of build. I've never heard great things about the offset lifter in a 59 degree block

Just noticed this thread after posting a related question. I see the tail pipes have a slight turn down. Would the factory style tips but for 2.5" pipe work if the turn down was cut off? Are you happy with Pypes system otherwise - good quality and fitment?

There's over 10 grand for the block and topend alone. 26,000 sounds very reasonable to me for 730 hp from carb to pan.

What do you think the TTI and Pypes kits are? Header back. I was including all of it when I said that. Not jes the cheap chit. lol
