    Slant 6 stroker?

Around the late 1980's Direct Connection had a stroker crank kit for the \6. The kit made a 242 CI. I was doing 2.2 stuff so I was not interested.

    Head question ?

The hydraulic lifters did not start until 1982. The 77 head is a peanut plug head. Nothing wrong with either. The drool tube heads are fine, as long as you keep good tube seals in.

    New Project

Wow. That's some crazy **** with the brakes. And I thought I'd seen some sketchy stuff from the PO's on my projects. However, I can't hold a candle to this junk. Oh, and by the way, my 82 says hello you your 88!

A pint of Seafoam in the oil will help loosen up the carbon stuck piston rings, and help them to seal to the cylinder walls again. Have saved a lot of oil smoking engines by letting that seafoam soak in there for a couple weeks after warming up the engine. Then change out oil and fresh...

    Upper Control Arm bolt

It's heavy, time consuming work, for sure. Makes me wish I had gotten into another end of it, as suspension and alignment work has made me at least 10 years older than I really am, maybe more.

There is a good chance the rear wheel only ABS system (junction block) went lame. Instead of trying to fix it, they probably just removed the rear brake shoes and went without. That rear ABS junction block is probably still stuck. This is a good fix to bypass the Rear ABS, then you can put...

Looks better with the wheel spacer out of there. Yeah Crazy, no rear brakes.... Lucky your aluminum wheels still fit the 5.5 truck bolt pattern. Saw your YouTube about putting the Bluetooth in the radio. Great idea > good thinking and execution. Too bad the actual radio came up lame. You Pull...
