    i don't know about that. With the 100+ 7 1/4's I've had apart, I've never seen the ring bolts sheared. It's almost always the spiders and side gears that fail. On the sure grip models, it's more common that the pinion and/or pinion bearings that fail first.

    That may be true, but, I can't say for sure. The 2.93 set I have has an early ring gear number (2070480) and a much later pinion number (3507746)! Here's the NOS Mopar parts I have.....all the bearings for the pinion gear, carrier, and axle shafts, the seals for the axle shafts and pinion...

    I have just about everything in NOS for that rear end....at least according to my inventory ledger. I'd have to put my hands on the actual part to verify. I show a 2.93 ring and pinion, the carrier bearings, the pinion bearings, side gears and spiders (for non-sure grip) axle bearings and seals...

    I believe that is a '66 Plymouth A-body only horn button....and not even all of '66. My early '66 Barracuda still used the V emblem. The B-bodies in '66 had that wheel option too, but, I think the horn button was different.

    67-9 Barracuda front and rear bumpers interchange. Just the brackets are different front and rear.

    I assume this is not a wagon? I've never seen one with actual chrome. All the ones I've seen (on the 270 and GT) have a glued-on plastic trim bezel piece with some silver foil on the inside to make it look chrome-like. I don't think the 170's came with that bezel.

    All the mounting brackets are the same '64-6 273 (and even poly 318's) A/C and non-A/C. The adjustment strap is different between manual trans and automatic for some reason. Not sure what the difference is or why there should be one, but, they have different part numbers in the factory manual.

    In '66, the package codes were under the E and F. The E packages I'm most familiar with are the emission packages (such as the C.A.P.) I suspect that the suspension package would be an 8 under the F letter. 7 under the F is the Formula S package.

    In '66, you could get a suspension package, but, I don't think there was a performance package as such, other than the Formula S package.

    A '79 to at least '88 intake will interchange with yours. I don't have any info for anything later than '88, so, there may be later ones that work too. I would have the intake magnafluxed to check for cracks before buying and/or installing. The main areas I've seen problems are in the webbing...
