    Oil Light comes on.

Check the wire going to the oil switch. It's probably grounded somewhere, although it should go out when the key is switched off.

    New Project

So I did some more digging this evening and I found these little gems. No wonder the front end is so off and it rides so weird. @George Jets was right again. Someone had lifted the front of this truck at some point they have installed spacers under the coils. I didn't notice them the first time...

    Lost Ignition #2

Thanks it’s a 1970 Sport Satellite using an MSD set as shown. It was running but something broke/changed. I lost 12V signal to the MSD (2V) power/battery was good. Same at the VR 2V. Traced and isolated the brown wire out of the ignition 2V. Red incoming feed to the ignition switch was 13V...

    Oil Light comes on.

I have a 1973 Dodge Dart Sport 225 Slant 6 with automatic transmission. This is the first time the oil light came on. It stayed on long after the engine was turned off and the key removed. The oil level reads full. Could this be a wiring issue? Anyone have any idea what the problem is. Any...

I thought that rang a sad bell. Claudia Jennings, killed in a head on crash, evidently of her own making.

Has anyone had any problems installing this TCI trans shield.

I would run all of the protection I could get. Years back when my partner and I ran Super Gas, we ran both. Luckily we only grenaded one transmission and the floor board need hust a little patching, it could have been a "LOT" worse.

[WANTED] Mopar Dual Plane Small Block Intake Manifold P4529116

Looking to see what's out there for a friend. He wants the earlier version of this intake and not the later version that was offered. Prefer stock, unported, clean intake. New or Used I think this is the part #P4529116 for the intake in the photos, but not sure. Part #P4532059 is cast into...

Has anyone had any problems installing this TCI trans shield.

Quick question to run in the 9.80 range with the TCI trans shield do we need to run a flex plate shield also?

Looking for a 225 Slant Six 225 Engine

If it has good compression and it does, I would say the oil burning is coming from elsewhere, but since I am not there, there's no way to tell. Valve seals usually dry out, get hard, crack up and fall apart. And of course valve guides wear. When does it smoke? The old adage that when you stand...

    Lost Ignition #2

By the way, in my 'yute' I owned a 69 383 4 speed RR and then a 70 440-6 4 speed, 3.54 Dana. Gawd I wish I had that 70 back This was when it was new, the original owner and still a friend of mine. He is 78-80, I am 76. We are both radio amateurs and still friends. We have been up...

Kind of back, trying to restart the harness stuff

Rob, once you get back into the wing of things I need to talk to you about a relay setup for my race car. It may have to be custom built because I'm actually running driving lights in the turn signal holes of the glass front end.

    Rear Versus Front Tire Widths

...that I had in mind. Turned our pretty clean. So, when the last 2 wheels came in today I took them down immediately to hav the tire mounted. **The 3.75 inch backspacing on the AR62 wheels has turned out perfect; as the rear tires still clear the springs by almost 2 inches. I did also...

    Lost Ignition #2

IGN1 is often times blue but not always, it is hot ONLY in the run position. It goes dead during cranking or when key is in ACC IGN2 is hot the same as the "start" contact, but they are two separate switch contacts/ circuits. IGN2 is often brown, feeds out through the bulkhead, to...
