Shocks: looking for Blistein quality at KYB price.

I just sold my 73 Dart Swinger and about 10 years ago I put Bilstein RTS shocks from James at PST. Best money I ever spent…car doesn’t float and feels planted at speed. Very happy with them and I would suggest biting the bullet and getting them…my 2 cents

    Power steering gear valve question

Well I didn’t get something right because it was leaking. This is what I did step by step when mounting the valve assembly. 1. installed the 3 o-rings, 2x small and 1 large in the channels in the mount and not on the surface of the valve assembly. 2. Installed the spring, small diameter end...

VIN Plate attachment to the door jamb

Probably Cobb County as compared to a smaller county. Glad I left as Cobb County has way too many people for me! I just moved to Florida. They visually, in person must inspect every vehicle transferred into Florida, regardless of year. Seems crazy when a title is presented.

    What spark plugs for 340

when you started using AutoLites back in the day they were American made and quality. When the corporate greed took over, it was all about the bottom line and cut corners so quality went down the drain as it is today with Autolite. You think that Autolite of today as it was yesteryear, your...

    Owner hoping for 50k?

They have the K car effect going with the trunk lock cover and the Fratzog on the front. Chevy black in the trunk and under the hood. Doesn’t look to me like a Dodge color either. More like a Corvette yellow. 77 or so. With the fabric headliner my guess is 73. I don’t even have words for that...

    Roller lifter conversation

This is a very very complicated procedure of drilling, honing, fitting, peening, and redrilling oil flow holes. He’s best off finding an old Direct Connection book so he can truly understand the procedure.

Unless we get batteries to a third of their current weight, I don’t think full electric will ever happen. Hybrid, probably. Full no way. Weight is a very big problem.

    Odd door mirror

I have been searching for a replacement to the door mirror on my 65 Valiant convertible. I have seen one other like it on a 65 Barracuda but I am not sure if they are an original to any Mopar or if they were an aftermarket? I could order the dual post style but the base on those is much smaller...
