Rack & Pinion is a big improvement ,Coil over suspension is another plus, For the street HDK suspension is sturdy. I went with AJEsuspension. Its light but I would not recommend it for the street. very weak and should be used with front and mid plated engine mounting.
Same here, but it seems like people keep wanting to use them on the street.
The weight savings is the interesting part for me, and I think shows that the AJE is too lightweight for long term street use. The biggest difference is the weight of the K frame, even compared to other coil over...
The trans mount looks like there wasn't a lot of modification from original but it is hard to tell from the photo. I tried to find the original ad and the pictures so we could take a better look at what they did but could not find it. If I stumble onto it I'll post the pics. The Mustang Forums...
...My first choice was HDK. Then I bought a race car to save some dollars with a AJE race only light weight suspension for the Demon. It is very light duty and I would not recommend it for the street at all. If I had to chose again I would not have bought the car with the AJEsuspension in it.
the "use the search button" bigrade must be off for the weekend.

The way that AJE kit deals with the upper mounts for the coilovers is a joke. It’s not long term street worthy IMO. Bolt a bracket to the side of the frame rail and use the shock mount which was never intended to carry the weight of the car to back it up? C’mon.
It’s lightweight drag race...
Get a custom k-member with coil overs and a rack&pinion . You'll have the extra room and the handling. For a good suspension with no install issues I would contact. HDK HemiDenny on this site. By far the best fitting with no issues from every one that bought from him.
I bought an AJE...
My buddies street duster with a 440, Pa sticker, cage, steel everything but hood, stock glass, heater, stock trunk annd wheel wells, inner fenders in the car, stock suspension with super stock springs, and 250 pound body was a hair under 3500.
Well every option the car came with was in the car it was loaded minus air. It was all original metal no glass parts. Complete mild steel cage took 2 of us to carry it without the swing outs or rear down tubes. Large after market stereo with 4 huge magnets. Heavy wall 3 1/2 inch exhaust...

AJE is basically drag race only stuff. It's not street suspension.
If you're going to do a coil over conversion then RMS and HDK are the best options. They have well thought out assemblies that address some of the issues that occur when you install suspension on a chassis that was designed to...
...set up of theirs They built them that looks similar to that. If it's magnum force trash it. It's garbage. Magnum Force | Mopar Chassis & Suspension
Could be aje too which is really only a race only unit. A, B & E Body Mopar Archives | AJESuspensions
I'm leaning to magnum force garbage...
I would like to take it to the track couple times a year, but mostly street driving. I would be interested to know how to set up the torsion bar suspension to make it handle just as good. I have upgraded torsion bars, and the adjustable race struts up front with factory upper and lower control...
Very big weight difference with a complete tubular K-member with a rack and coil overs would be the magor gain. I went with AJE for a light weight drag car. HDK would be the prefered dual purpose due to strength. My street Demon will be all factory suspension. Remember the stiffer the bars...
...2K OBO. With serious consideration on the OBO LOL
I need to buy some parts from HemiDenny to get my car on the ground.
I bought a AJEsuspension kit for my Barracuda I am building to remove the old torsion bar suspension in favor of an suspension system utilizing a Mustang 2 steering rack...
years ago when I had my 70 Duster,( factory 340 air car) I raced it with 8 point mild steel cage, frame connectors, all steel except bumpers( so likely 50 pounds savings total there.
full bench seat/ carpet interior, full stock gas tank full of gas( didn’t want any slosh, no spare tire, I...
So I am building a 69 Barracuda and trying to install a AJE K Member and suspension package.
Has anyone here had any experience with installing the coil over conversion brackets? They have to be bolted thru the chassis and it looks like I have to cut off a bracket which is in the way. The...
...are many after market suspensions out there designed to do this . We were going to go with HDK. But bought a project car with an AJEsuspension. If we had to do it over we would have went with struts for a race car due to no upper arms. I would recommend HDK for a multipurpose car. SW race...
Hitting the brakes in reverse relieves pressure on the torsion bar from lift. The stronger the bar the less distance it takes to unload. The reason weak bars are used for drag racing is they provide lift throughout their travel. Heavy bars lose lift and get looser at the the top.
When going...
AGREE , it does look like a mag. force , dont let these guys scare u , most of the bad mouthing is heresay , a few have had problems . I have had one on my 68 fastback for about 10 yrs. , look the welds over good , I also wouldnt run one w/o using a motor plate my self < just me .

I just purchased a car with AJEsuspension with street uppers. I was at S&W race cars buying the cage add on and chute mounts and saw they are a dealer for AJE. While there I asked if they could get me the Viking shocks. They sold me QA-1s , I asked about the race upper arms and they called...
Hey! I wanted to take a min to let everyone know it appears “AJESuspension” is quite far behind.
Long and short of the story I was told by AJE to order my complete a-body front tubular k member and rack kit from Jegs to get best price.
So I did just that on June 5. I was told 6-8 weeks...
...out great. I am so much happier with the results. And they are actually mirror of each other. I wish this was the product which AJESuspension had sold.
I will get some more pictures abit later, but just got home from picking these up and had to get a picture on the thread right away.

Im looking at upgrading my suspension as much as possible in the next few months. My goal is to improve handling and comfort, as it’s a bit rough as-is with my worn suspension parts.
I found a kit that classic industries sells to convert my rear-end to coil overs from the stock leaf springs. I...
