    I have a stock bore 68 383 with flat top pistons the cam is a doug herbert cam with 480 lift 108* lobe seperation. what would be the starting point for timing? I could really use the help if the timing is on we will start looking to see if i have an intake leak just trying to trouble shoot...

    hi guys I bought a 383 awhile back I want to check the clearance on the rods and mains but all I can find is in my old mopar performance it calls for .001 - .025 for mains but I cant find anything for the rods. any help is appriciated. thanks shiifty :read2:
