This question is for those of you that are running a supercharger. I got all the right ignition parts i need. I have a Holley blue fuel pump. I am having trouble finding the right fuel regulator. Alot of them come with a return line port inwhich i dont need. They all also come with a vacuum...

Supplemental electric fuel pump and regulator rec's

...canister), I'm thinking to modify the extra line from the vapor capture "tube" in the trunk to the engine bay to turn it into a fuel return line so I can use a return-style regulator. I occasionally have minor issues with fuel percolation and I know using a return-type fuel system would help...

    "One-way" fuel line valve..?

Hi all My 198 slant starts very easily and fast when hot, but when it has been shut off for a couple of days, I have to crank several times to get it back to life. The time required for the mechanical pump to refill the fuel line and the carb bowl. I planned to install an electric fuel pump...

    Fuel System Recommendations

I'm trying to figure out the best way to feed a healthy 383 I'm getting ready to install into my '75 Duster. I currently have a 5/16" fuel line, which is just not going to cut it, especially since I plan on adding a 75-100 shot of nitrous at some point in the future. I was thinking about...

I think that's a vapor return not open.

    Vapor lock- additive?

Not half. But it will bleed off some. That is, as long as you use a bypass regulator for the return orifice, OR use a fuel filter with a metered orifice return nipple. If you simply plumb in a straight return, then yeah, your fuel pressure will drop dramatically.

How would you run the return ??

I'd look into something like this - fuel line return bulkhead fitting. No brazing needed, just need to drill a 9/16" hole in the sender face.

    Gets hot and stalls out

If you were ever to go to the drag strip they may not allow the fuel line going up the fire wall like that. Just an FYI to anyone routing fuel lines. Of course, if yo never go to the track it doesn't matter.

    PAXTON SUPERCHARGER NOVI 1200 KIT

If you're running an electric fuel pump, you could tap a block off plate and drain it into the fuel pump mount. Heck, now that I think about it, the factory used a hollow bolt on the fuel pump for the return line on the police package oil coolers- so you could probably do that even if you're...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

I currently run a Tanks inc EFI tank with the "corvette" style filter/regulator, which is a dead head system. I plan to change over to the return a return style system, which will require an additional line to the tank, a new regulator and filter.

Basically it is a return line , or vent...Like Fred said, you can put an extension hose on it and a filter and just keep it in the back of the car....

    Fuel pickup/sender units with vent

Considering getting a new unit as opposed to drilling holes for a return line. I see quite a few options over pages of looking. Might just try a bulkhead fitting, too. Any recommendations for a known GOOD unit? 'Good' would include a sender that works with the OEM gauge, a float that might...

    Fuel line Mod Questions- Confused

Hello all, I’m still new to this and learning as I go. I believe with the 90+ degree days and heat index at 105 the last couple days in Miami and foreseeable future , I am certainly experiencing vapor lock conditions. After searching these forums and YouTube, I’m still confused in terms of...

    Return Line Routing

For clarification's sake, there was never a SOLID FUEL return system on our Mopars. There was, however vapor return. I'm getting ready to run a return line on my truck, Gladys. I'm just going to run right beside the existing fuel line from the tank right to the engine bay.

    Fuel System Recommendations

I up-sized an existing return line nipple on the factory sending unit by using a step drill and a 3/8's steel line silver soldered together. Finding real silver solder took a minute though. The electrical pass-through fitting is from Radium Engineering. This sending unit can be fitted with...

    Gets hot and stalls out

Note that I am in AZ. I run a Holley 770 on my magnum. 3/8 lines up and back for a return system with both lines routed up the corner of the firewall and inner fender insulated then across to attach to a flipped backwards dual fuel feed hard line. My return T is right before the hard line that...

...extra vent port on it but others have just used a tee fitting to connect to if they had just one vent port on fuel tank. Use a 1/4" fuel return line from Fuel/Vapor separator back to Fuel tank vent connection. REFERENCE: https://www.moparaction.com/2016/03/16/vaporware/...

What will cause my float bowls to go dry

I had the problem on Gladys where the fuel in the line between the carburetor and pump would drain back through the fuel pump towards the tank. I solved it way back then with a Dorman one way check valve. I've since replaced that fuel pump and redone some of the fuel system forward of the pump...

    Fuel pump

I would look at your fuel rail. If it has a return port and a FPR (doubt it does) than I would use the one with a return port. Pretty sure your factory setup was returnless. I know the later cars, even the Hellcats were. I know some swear by a return style fuel system when getting into big...

    Fuel tank venting

When I got my '74 Duster, the factory tank was gone, along with the spare tire well. Slab of sheetmetal on the trunk floor and a fuel cell on it... I wasn't a fan. I got lucky, found a very nice trunk floor, tank, and 5/16" pickup/sender from a '73 Valiant and stuck them in. There are no ports...

I was considering swapping from a carb setup to a Sniper setup, which (I believe) requires a return line. Seems like a good way to kill maybe more than two birds with one stone.

Vapor lock would be my first guess, too. Ii have had that exact same problem from the fuel line running too close to the header tubes. I wrapped that section of line with thermal insulation tape and problem went away.

Where to get replacement 1972 5/16" vapor return line?

I have a 1972 Plymouth Duster and am trying to replace the vapor return line. Mine is 2 piece, 5/16" OD and all pre-bent manufacturers seem to say the line should be 1/4". I see listing of 5/16" for 1971 and wondering if that is the line my car has for some reason. For mine the line routes...
