Considering getting a new unit as opposed to drilling holes for a return line. I see quite a few options over pages of looking. Might just try a bulkhead fitting, too.

Any recommendations for a known GOOD unit? 'Good' would include a sender that works with the OEM gauge, a float that might stay floating after a decade or four, one that doesn't leak, one that FITS... etc.

To be used with a fuel-makeit-happener, not injection.

I see one on Summit that appears to have the return T'd directly to the supply line inside the. I don't see how that could be useful OR acceptable. The point is to cycle fuel back to the TANK, not loop the feed line.

Suggestions appreciated.

No such thing as an aftermarket sender that will read correctly

If your OEM sender is working add the return there but you must keep it from allowing fuel to flow backwards to the carb.

The sender is fully under fuel when the tank is full
