    72 duster resto

Personally, I would always go aluminum unless I was looking for a restoration look or competing in something that had rules that required iron. If for no other reason, they weight half as much.

A body with an A833 and a Gear Vendor installed

I tend to agree with you H D that I would be happy with just using the GV as an OD only. I just don't know that I would really need to use it as a splitter, that was actually the premise of me actually only wanting a 5 speed or the replacement 18 spline gearset in my original thoughts on which...

Left hand lug nuts are back, baby!

Left hand lug nuts went extinct because they got broken off by unknowing people. And impact drivers at the tire shop did a majority busting them off. Centerlock wheel nuts have to worry about pins being sheared off and the Centerlock nut loosening itself under braking o nthe right side.

    408 rebuild

The Eagle is fine for what it’s intended use is, but it is pretty easy to make enough power to get it out of its comfort zone. Also it is such a catastrophic event when they break.

I'm sorry - sell the motor? Or the internals? Finding a good 360 block isn't that easy these days.

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

On my '74 Duster 360, power disk brakes were standard. Looks like that isn't the case with a '71 Duster 340 though. But based on your earlier pictures, the booster was there and I highly doubt someone went to the effort to add it. Also, if it has disk brakes (can't tell from your pictures)...
