    Throttle cable and braket options.

Got bored and swapped out the 850 vec sec to this old school dominator I had sitting around. The fresh motor loves it. :) Now just figuring out if I need to: 1. Longer throttle cable and the mancini xtra tall bracket and return springs or 2. One of those universal all in 1 that bolts to the...

    67 barracuda fastback rear tyres

Hi guys. I currently have 275/60r15 Bf Goodrich on the rear and have been given a set of 28x10.5-15 M/T sportsman pro's. The Bf's just fit, with about 1/2 an inch of clearance from the leaf spring. Just wondering if anyone has tried this tyre and if they will fit.

    Some setup advice required.

I'm running the 383 closed chamber heads all rebuilt with some port work done. Lunati solid cam, lifters and matching springs. 1.6 roller rockers. Edelbrock Victor 440 intake and currently an 850 Holley but have an old 1050 that I want to try. Might be ok with this big thing on the street...

Thanks mate, If you could pm me a price on the kit including a shipping cost to Adelaide, south Australia 5013, that would be great. I think I'll just get one of your kits, just in case.. :)

    Wtf - roller rocker

Hi guys, I'm using 383 closed chamber heads. The motor is a fresh build. Icon pistons, H beam rods, coyles timing chain kit etc. The heads were all built for that cam. New springs retainers, locks, valves etc all new. It took me a couple of weeks and some machining to get the rockers...

    Wtf - roller rocker

Hi guys, Yep, sorry was a typo. As suggested above. Heads and bottom end ran fine with a hydraulic setup. The heads have been rebuilt by a shop with new everything to suit the cam. I have 5/16 pushrods and I have 2 threads showing under the rocker on the adjuster screw.

    Wtf - roller rocker

Hi there, I spent a fair bit of time getting these to fit correctly. At first, they sounded a little noisy, kinda like an overgrown sewing machine. Readjusted and not as bad. Gave it a good test out, you know 5500 rpm gear changes etc and that's when the #8 intake pushrod jumped out and...

    Wtf - roller rocker

This is the second time a pushrod has come out and also pushed the lifter out of its bore. Lunati solid cam and lifters. Pwr 1.6 rockers. ( yes I know, that's all I can afford) I've done the lash a few times now at 0.14" as suggested on the lunati cam card. Shouldn't try 0.10"? Only does...

Champion radiator - I cut her open

Update: So o was bored and impatient yesterday and wanted to put some of the suggestions to a test. I went down to the car wreckers and found a early 2000's ford courier radiator. 26" wide and the hose locations were identical. Top and bottom tanks, but very thin. The hose width was a bit...

Champion radiator - I cut her open

So would an ECP 2 core, 1 inch, painted black to blend in, an A body mopar shroud and my 7 blade mechanical fan. Would that do the trick? Or would you go twin spal 12" thermo fans with a fan controller hidden.

Champion radiator - I cut her open

So is anyone running a 440 in a 67, A body using a mechanical fan like the one pictured, a mopar shroud and 2 or 3 core radiator.? Anyone know how much air the factory fan moves at a certain rpm?? After reading all this and going through the other posts about cooling systems, I'm now...

Champion radiator - I cut her open

Hmm, all makes sense. I did find this in my stash of goodies. Looks like mopar part number 46237. Is this oem for my 383, 67 barracuda? Funny it's painted nearly identical to my paint code of PP1. There are traces of this color on the floors, however I'd assume the engine would have been...

Champion radiator - I cut her open

To clarify, This rad was in the car before I rebuilt the motor. I had issues with it previously, so it was on my kill list. Fresh motor build, About 500hp, tested the new tstat, plenty of airflow, timing 12/36, tried a bit more, no improvement, new rad cap tried a few . Even put a pusher...

Champion radiator - I cut her open

Cut the top and bottom tanks of my old champion radiator that was in my 440, 67 barracuda. The cores are tiny. I could barely fit some 0.6 MIG wire through. This rad was setup with a shroud and twin 1300cfm fans. Still didnt work. I'm planning on buying a decent core and making a twin pass...

    440/4 speed install, which method?

Hey question: probably a dumb one. Number 1 piston ATDC on compression stroke and the rotor points to just before the number 1 lead on the dizzy cap. See pic. And my pointer. Should I move my leads so number 1 was where number 2 was or to where number 8 is or just leave it there and play with...
