    10/30w + compcams brake in 20min, -drain- new 20/50w+stp new filter, 500miles- drain-new 20/50w+stp new filter and pull the engine so high rpm you whant, thats how i do and it works for me.

    silly! ? ! , so you mean that if i pick a cam with .250dur and 545 lift and one with .230dur and 510 lift, rpm range 2500-6000rpm, power get the same hp/tq with a litle difference !? And about "silly" that is the one who say it WAS IT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The hughes cam don't give much rpm, can this realy give some nice power, and isky have no "split" profile are that an old grind, because what i understand so are all "new" cams split profile like the hughes and lunati...feel a...

    hello, back again, thanks for info and all advice, don't know the company who built the converter, check my stall yesterday and i was surprised (2600rpm) because when i cruise around it feeld like stock but when i hit the floor the engine rpm speed upp to 2600 and pulled strong up to 5000rpm...

    what cam suit best for my new combo 360 : edel-heads , rpm airgap, holley 750vac, 10.5 cr, roller-tip rockers-1.5,tti step headers 1.5/8-1.3/4, 2.5inch pipes dyno max mufflers, 2600rpm stall, 3.91 s-grip. have a nice day

    how can step-headers 1.5/8 - 1.3/4 give you more tq/hp than you get with just 1.5/8 header ? I mean the exhaust go no bigger anyway..!?

    why have the "right out of the box" heads to tight valve guides ? It's no good publicity for the manufactures that they don't do the work right from the beginning...i mean 1500$ for a set edel and then more dollars to get them ready for the "street"...??

    i have not read all the answer but i wonder about the tq or hp is best in a a-body..? I mean stroke 360 to be a 408 or bigblock 440cui, are a problem with smoking tires and bad track/strip/street time, have you modified the rear end to handle all that torque ?? In my strip/street duster i go...

    how much cam can i bolt in (lift/dur) with out to check piston to valve ?clearance? stock 360 piston and 1.88 valve heads, can i go for cc 275deh with out problem ? I have this cam new in box and want to run it for summer.

    comp cams whant you (and me) to have dubble springs with that cam and the inner spring of when do the brake in process, and then put inner back again, with "beehive" you don't need dubble springs and are ready to go for dyno pull... If i understand right !?

    the edelbrock rpm kit : carb 750cfm, heads, intake, cam, 1.3/4 headers shoud give you 420hp, i read on net and the heads can give you max 475hp, it's 50hp for "free" gain with right cam so why not if you are a racer. So what comp cams mean about heads when it comes to ported for xe295hl is it...

    ok, i'm looked on the hughes prept 525hp it's okej but fully ported stage 3, can that realy is thrue because it's not much material to port in , and the pushrod bump can i just smoth it out litle so what are the secret about that to get 525hp and more...

    edelbrock performance plus, is just bolt in . 270 advs dur 420 lift, smooth idle (i'm sorry), i have that cam in my 360 with performace alu intake and edel-600cfm carb, good low and midrange, if you look after nasty idle check out hughes engine they have what you look after, sounds like street...
