    Interesting, I just went 383 from 340. The fork from the SB is too short. Brewers says it's the same piece BB or SB. As I see it I need the 12 1/2 to line up with the Z bar.

    Okay, thats easy. Your 340, good 4 inch crank, stock rods are fine, they are forged. Light forged pistons, W-2's, cam in the 250 plus @50 range, easy 500 hp. Have a fine day.

    The crank was $400, pistons were around 800, I can't remember. zero deck 9.5 Diamond, a couple sticks of mallory. I think Im into it around $4500, already owning the complete engine.

    Don't put that POS on your car! It will run bad, you will cut a hole in a good hood to find it runs bad then you got that hole. I have yet to see a ram work well on the street. You may think it looks cool til you get really tired of how crappy the engine runs. Sell it, be happy. Just my .02

    This is funny! EOS is a mandatory for me. Too many cams wiped out by alot of people. Not me or anyone Ive heard of who used it. My guy who builds alot of engines said " get some cheap oil and a good filter for break in, dump it, then some quality stuff"

    intake leaking anti freeze

    I always use silicone sealer. A big beed (sp) from head to head nice and thick. I always work from the inside out in a circle when tightening, just using a wrench and socket. Snug not cranked.
