    Headers to Borrow

Anybody in SoCal have a set of small block (non W2) headers that I could borrow for a dyno session at Bob Lambeck's shop next week. Mine are being fabricated by Performance Welding but not yet finished. Any ideas?

    Grape Ape going Bye Bye???

It is very possible that we will be giving up our beloved Plymouth Duster, The Grape Ape to some lucky but cash filthy racer on RacingJunk.com pretty soon. It seems that this old bracket racer has got the itch to go "legit" racing and is in the process of preparing another 74 Plymouth Duster...

    West Coast Bracket Racers

For those west coast bracket racers who prefer to run delay boxes the West Coast Hot Rod Association has added an Electronics class to their program to compliment their traditional portfolio of Gasser and Index racers. Finally, there is a place for us Nintendo jockies who can't seem to let go of...

    Aftermarket Dashes?

I'm sorry to hear about Rocky Mountain Dashes. I just saw one of their jobs on a 71 Duster at the track this weekend and it was a simply awesome piece. It was an original dash cap with an aluminum plate cut to custom gauge sizes. What a shame.

    Milodon steering link clearance

Nice Dart! If you mean turning it upside down that was my first thought. However, the tube going through the pan is only about 2 inches wide and it hits on the top of the channel in the upside down position. Someone suggested using a 6 cylinder steering link because it has less of a drop...

    Milodon steering link clearance

Is anybody using the big 10qt Milodon race pan with a small block? I cannot get enough clearance for the steering link to pass through the opening in the pan without binding on the bottom of the tube going through the pan. It seems the only solution is to lower the engine by 1/4" - 1/2" in the...

    Small Block Oiling System Mods

I assume you mean the height of the lifter bore. Isn't that pretty standard? Are there significant variance in the depth or height of the lifter bore. You're right, for me it's a shade too late. Actually, they are my old lifters being placed into a fresh block. We chose not to perform...

    Small Block Oiling System Mods

I have always performed the oil system mods by blocking the right side oil galleys with the tube and ream package. However, when I put my big roller motor back together this time I was advised by both Crane and CompCams that since I'm using full skirted lifters those mods were obsolete and...
