    Fender Splash Shield Question

Just bought these oem 67-69 Barracuda fender splash shields. They are rusted but very solid and renewable . I always thought the passenger side was just a reverse mirror image of the drivers side. After I media cleaned, primed and test fit the side, it was way out of shape. Closer inspection...

    Garnet As A Sheetmetal Media

Anybody have any thoughts or experiences using 80 mesh garnet at low pressure to cleanup small sheetmetal patch panels. I have a couple donor fenders from my '68 and am planning to use them to make some patch panels for a set of fenders that need much less work than the originals. Will garnet...

    SHEET METAL WELDING ORDER

Thanks Ron816, everything is already screwed in place and fitment and alignment are complete. I'm ready to start welding. It sounds like you agree with my assumption to begin welding with the floor pans and work my way out to the quarters and on to the front cowl and inner fenders.

1968 Formula S Barracuda Leaf Spring Identification

Thanks for all the responses. I know springs are a pretty simple issue. but the reason I'm asking such a mundane question is that I'm not sure if I have the original springs. Because a 7th leaf was added and the work looks sloppy. I'm not sure what else may have been changed. Also, I bought a...

1968 Formula S Barracuda Leaf Spring Identification

I removed the leaf springs from my 68 S B-cuda and discovered that a previous owner made some sloppy modifications. A 7th leaf was added using a leaf from some other vehicle that was sawed off to fit and the "now to short" clamps were made to fit by welding a bolt across the clamp. I want to...
