The old radiator was real old!,i'll probably just have it recored

Last month i bought a Murray radiator from oreillys for a 69 dart 318 and the difference between the new one is that it is a 2 core and the old one is a 3 core. The new radiator over heats fast and gets up to 210 but the old radiator never past 190.I dont know what seems to be the problem but...

My worst nightmare came true today when they were installing my windshield,the took the old one out and they found rust and not just a little.They still put the windshield in and did there best at sanding it but they just cant warranty the windshield.Does anybody know where the do stuff like...

How can you tell if the channel for the windshield has rust in it.And if so how would that of happened.How can you fix it. Need information before i put a new windshield in.

Would the elderbrock performer intake be higher our lower.because i heard the the hood wont close because they sit up high.i have a regular style hood..please need info..
