1973 340 Duster shell with rare options

Titles are not required in RI for cars over 10 yrs old. It would just be a bill of sale. I could arrange a RI dealer's bill of sale if it would be accepted in your state.

1973 340 Duster shell with rare options

I have the remains of a 1973 Duster 340, 4 spd, sunroof, folding seat car. It appears that this is a very rare optioned model. Fender tag reads: Engine E55 Trans D21. In an article in Mopar Muscle Magazine on line, there is a similar car that the article states is 1 of only 40 so equipped. The...

    Duster Sunroof

Turns out this may be a very rare optioned 340 car. The shell is actually in restorable condition and I would like to see it saved. Need to do more research on this car before I remove or cut anything.

1973 340 Duster too good to scrap?

Thanks to all for the info. Thanks to chryslerfat for backing me up. He sounds like he might also be self employed in construction during the winter with a slow economy, pays $$$ for his own health insurance, and has kids in college. Have to watch the pennies. That's why I'm trying to figure out...

1973 340 Duster too good to scrap?

This car was with a package deal of cars and parts I bought. Look on this site under "Mopar cars for sale" and look for "1972 Duster V8 Project". Maybe I should have listed the 73 with the 72 as a parts car! Need to sell both cars. Thanks for all the info.

1973 340 Duster too good to scrap?

As part of a package deal, I have a stripped 73 Duster body. After checking it out, it is not in that bad a shape (for the Northeast). VIN says it's a 340 car, has clutch pedals, floor shift hump, sunroof and folding rear seat hardware (seats are gone). I have the original doors and a set of...

mileage. the harder i try the worse it gets...

Have you checked all the very obvious: brakes dragging or adjusted too tight, parking brake dragging, tire inflation, bad A/C clutch, etc. Any dead bodies in the trunk adding weight? Will the car roll in neutral? Instead of buying a different timing light, you may be able to just mark the...

Ranger rear end into a Dart?

Put an Explorer rear in my AMC project. Big axles, disk brakes, 3.73 gears, and posi for $150. Another short side axle $20. Cut out piece of longer tube, Mickey Mouse jig to get it accurate to within 15 kilofathoms, and you'r good. Junk yards are full of them. Gears from 3.55 to 4.11

    Duster sunroof

I have the stripped remains of a 73 Duster with the crank open roof. Is this roof worth saving before the car is scrapped? If so, what is it worth? Anyone need one? (Located in the northeast) Thanks
