    65 Barracuda with factory 318??

Cavemanmoron...Thanks for the link. I live in Boise, Idaho. Unfortunately, the car is about 3 hours away. This is not added incentive since I can't really put faith in anything the owner has told me about the car. By the way...sweet Signet you have there!

    65 Barracuda with factory 318??

This guy advertised the car for sale, and I quote "1965 Plymouth Barracuda fast back, 318 four speed, all factory, nice car..." I guess it would be pretty rare if actually existed. If appears he was given some bad information.

    65 Barracuda with factory 318??

Thank you all for the confirmation. It is good people like yourselves that makes A-bodies the best Mopar site around! I can't wait to say "I told you so". :bootysha:

    65 Barracuda with factory 318??

66dartman...I would tend to agree that it is a 273, but this guy swears it was specially ordered. Do you think the 318 is even a possibility? I know that cars in those days could be ordered any number of ways, but this one is a mystery to me.

    65 Barracuda with factory 318??

I have spoken to a guy who tells me he has a 1965 Barracuda with an original 318 engine in it. He says it was his father's car and was ordered from the factory that way, with a 4-speed on the floor no less. Does anyone know if this was in fact a possiblity to order the 65 Barracuda with this...

Need help determining trim paint colors 66 Barracuda

Thanks for the info. I will take a look at those sources. It is hard to say what the original scheme around the gauges was. It appears to be worn off with chrome plating underneath, but that doesn't seem to make much sense. I certainly don't want to spend the $$$ to have it chrome plated. I...

Need help determining trim paint colors 66 Barracuda

My 66 Barracuda 4-speed is a good looking 20-footer and runs like a champ, but deep down is in need of a pretty thorough restoration. I am having trouble figuring out exactly what trim colors match the original on the car, and where the heck to get them in a rattle can. First off, the blue...

    who has a Pre 67 A body ?

I would be thrilled to have an early A-body section. These cars don't seem to get much attention at many other sites, so it would be nice to have a concentrated section. I look for parts from Layson's and The Paddock. I comb the catalogs but don't have much luck finding what I need...

    Where do you live

Born and raised in the Bay Area, but replanted a year ago to Boise, Idaho. I cetainly miss my home, but if I had not moved to Boise I never would have found my new love (uh, yeah...I mean the Barracuda). :burnout:

    Glad I found this site!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! Ray and Rich...thanks for the info. I will take a look in the daylight to see if I can find the paint codes. The color I am trying to find out for the instrument panel and console is that matte or satin silver color. I have seen it on many of the same...

    who has a Pre 67 A body ?

I am the proud owner of a 66 Barracuda 4-speed all matching with a 273. It is a work in progress. There is little doubt that parts are hard to come by for these early A-bodies. It seems the 66 Barracuda is especially difficult since there are so many unique parts to that year and model. I...

    Glad I found this site!

I am new to the site. My Mopar is a 66 Barracuda 4-speed that I picked up last summer. I am excited to have this site as a resource for parts, info, etc. Anybody know where I can get info (or actual product) for paint colors for my car? Not for the body, but for interior and exterior trim...
