    [SOLD] 1969 Plymouth Barracuda 318 4 speed - $5500

1969 Plymouth Barracuda 318 4 speed. I am located in Iowa City, IA. This is originally a 318 4 speed but the motor is not the original, nor is the paint original. Kansas car so NO RUST, garaged the entire time I have owned it (2 years). The motor comes from a late 80s car and I believe it is...

    Thin head gaskets?

Anyone have an idea of what the resulting compression would be on a junkyard 5.9 with thinner head gaskets (.025)? I realize it will be higher but I'm looking for a numeric value assuming everything else is kept the same/stock.

    67 Cuda bucket seats?

I was just looking at some Procar Classic 1500 series to put in mine. Like Wheels said, if you try to reconstruct the correct seats for the car you could spend a small fortune. http://www.procarbyscat.com/Products_Classic.asp Those are the ones I am considering. They run about $300 a piece.

    Carb belching out fuel...

So, I started up my Barracuda today to do a little tinkering and noticed when I popped the hood that the carb is pumping fuel out of a line that seems to be severed. I know nothing about these engines as of yet but this doesn't seem right... It's the rubber hose with the blue tip in the...

    Hello from Iowa

Hey, I just purchased my first Mopar, a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda notchback. It has a 318 and a 4 speed console shift with buckets. I look forward to learning a lot about this car from this site. Here's a pic of me towing it back with my 1960 Ford. Thanks, Bender
