And due to previous owner it has an 8.75 with 4:10 gears.

I have the small block trans already it came with the 340. But it sounds like I still need to get some more parts before even thinking about droppin the small block in. Ha ha. Oh well back to "Hoard and collect" mode.

Ok so I have a 340 that I am going to put into a slant 6 '65 Barracuda. I assume I need to get the k frame from a 273 fish or does that even matter? also I see people concerned with a center link, is that also something I need to worry about as well?

I know you just want to sell as a package,(which I wish I found this thread a couple months ago) but all I need now is the shaft. Would you be willing to sell me just the shaft and if so how much?

I am trying to convert from manual steering to power steering in my 65 Barracuda and I need the steering shaft. Does anybody have one for sale?

My 65 isnt even a Formula S I just thought the tach in the dash was really good looking but I guess console mount is what I will stay with. There is one on ebay for $365 but that seems a little steep.

I was wandering does anybody know where to the best place to get the dual groove crank pulley so I can run the power steering belt? and I guess the pump pulley beings cudamark says that is different as well. The pump is off of a 1987 diplomat 318 so that would make sense.

I just got a power steering gearbox for my 65 barracuda. I have a pump off of a 318, but right now the cuda has a 6 in it and I would like to hook it up but I need slant six power steering brackets. Does anybody have these?

Thank You VDART I will hafta go see if the shaft is still in that car. It doesn't matter if the parts car is a column shift and mine is a floor shift does it.

I see alot of guys asking how to convert from power steering to manual but I'm doing the opposite. my wife would like to drive the fish too but the manual steering is difficult for her. I accquired a p/s box from a 66 cuda thinking I could just swap them and hang a pump, but alot of these...

SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT i SCORED A POWER STEERING GEAR OUT OF A 66 CUDA TO PUT IN MY MANUAL STEERING 65 CUDA. DO i NEED TO GO GET THE SECTOR SHAFT AS WELL?
