Three sets of new bearings. Sent cam back for another they said it was good. Maybe its the block. Just got it back from shop and cam will not go in way to tight they said I may need to scrape the bearings. Would like another cam to try. I am building this block from scratch

Yes that is what I measure at TDC with the gasket too

So I pulled the head off and with the gasket in place I measure 3.969" to the bottom of the stroke and .204" to the top.

Ok I cannot find specs on these victor reinz head gaskets they came in a 440 gasket kit part number is 95-3344vr. My head is going to explode. I cannot find specs on the web !!

I will have to remove the head to see!

They are stock style flat top pistons. And they are victor reinz gaskets not sure how thick they are but i measured about 1mm

The S6 should measure approximately 22 1/4" across and that is about what i measure from perch to perch

Here is the deal I have a set of roller rockers with .400 offset I know that stock heads do not need the offset but will there be a problem if i install them. I just do not want to find out there is clearance problems the hard way.
