I have a 74 Duster, the front bumper does not have the shocks either. But I see 73's where the bumper looks a lot more tucked in than mine... Do these brackets pull the bumper in closer to the dody? Thanx

    [SOLD] Bench Seat

Thanks... I will let you know, and if I don't sell it I will take the hinge covers off for you. I know the trouble, I have buckets and no hinge covers, I found re-pops by the time I get them up here it would be over $100.00 for them. OUCH!!!

    [SOLD] Bench Seat

They are with the seats, but at this point I really would like to keep it all together and sell the seat. If no one ends up taking the seat then I would certainly salvage them for you.

    [SOLD] Bench Seat

Yeah shipping would be killer, funny thing is the car was actually in Ohio for a while. I can deliver in the Toronto area but I think Ohio is a little ways out for me. Anyhow, I have buckets, console, steering column head and all the stuff to change it to floor shift, and I am really thinking of...

    [SOLD] Bench Seat

Hi everyone, here are the photos of the bench seat. Like it's not in bad shape for a 40 year old seat but I really need it out of the garage more than anything else. Willing to trade for parts either mechnaical or interior (black preffered)... need headliner, sunvisors, A body shifter, a console...

No, it's the regular 50/50 split with adjustable head rests. Hey... can anyone tell me how I can insert a picture into this thread?

    [SOLD] Bench Seat

I am converting my car to console and buckets, so I have a really decent bench seat for sale. It is out of a 1973 Duster and does have some wear and tear in the stitching where the driver sits, but the rest is in good shape. Headrests are good as is the foam and frame. It is dark jade green...

    Bucket seat help

Well don't I look silly... the van thing makes total sense looking at the rails. If you really want to use these there are aftermarket seat rails available from a company called Scat. Would probably require custom fabrication and really not sure how much they would be though.

    Bucket seat help

:-k hmmmmm... I have officially come to the realization that I must be getting old... If I remember correctly the early 4 door cars had a small little box around the shifter, can't call it a console. Later they added a dash extension but by then the seats changed into those poofy velvety...

    [SOLD] 8 3/4 E body case with 742 Carrier

Hi All, I have a really nice 8 3/4" rear end with a 742 (the 1 3/4" large pinion carrier). It is out of a 70 Challanger or Barracuda, I was going to shorten it and install it in my Duster but I have too many projects on the go already. It still has the original 2.76 tags and I believe is...

    is this a good cam??

Thank you very much kind sir, I do try and I hope no one minds my humble opinion. I have built a few engines in my day and yes, I have made a few mistakes along the way as well. I worked the counter in a local speed shop for many years and the cam thing was always a thorn in my side... So many...

    is this a good cam??

Hey Scampy, The price seems not too bad but cam selection is so important. The trouble is most people buy cams because they want the hot sounding idle and forget about how that impacts the "whole package”. This cam is not radical by any stretch but would probably work best with a...

    74 Duster Wiper Transmission

Hi All, Can anyone provide me some assistance with my wiper transmission? I bought a car and the guy said the wipers did not work. As it turns out the wiper transmission arms were just laying in the trunk. I have only two arms and no bushings. I found bushings on E-Bay but hope to be able...

Hello from the great green north

Hey OLDFARTSDART... Missed the question sorry... Whitby is actually outside of a large GM town called Oshawa just east of Toronto Ontario. Yeah, I grew up as a Mopar boy in a GM town. In the late 80's I built a 1978 Dodge Aspen R/T and stuffed a 440 in it. Everyone said it couldn't be done. That...

Hello from the great green north

Thanks, Moepar I like it too... it has it's issues but there is so much solid stuff on it as well that it is worth the resto... it'll just take a little longer then I expected. Hey Cannucky, yeah, that is something I was thinking about but the idea of cutting up a brand new floor to weld in...

Hi All, Thanks for the warm welcome and the advice. I think I am going to go with the full AMD floor as I think it will give the best results. Also, I was asked to post a few pictures... . Not sure yet how to upload to the forum so I put them in a photobucket album at...

Hello from the great green north

Hi All, So here I am, my first A body. I always had F body Aspen and Volare’s before but now have a 1974 Duster which I bought on EBay a few weeks ago. Well it was advertised as a Solid car, but as it turns out it wasn’t quite as solid as I was told and now I have a bit of a project on my...
