The car was complete when I bought it. So most of the stuff is still there just all taken apart. (wipers, brake master which is cheap enough to just replace, stuff like that). Obviously there would be too much little stuff it needs to post but y'all project guys get the idea.
I honestly have no...
Well, I've had this car in storage for a very long time and unfortunately I can't hold it any longer. It's in Oxnard California and I need it gone soon as the property it's on is being sold.
I bought it probably 8 years ago with a blown slant 6. I had big dreams and ended up ripping apart the...
Pntastar69, my bell housing has the small register hole. Id have to machine out the hole and machine down the bearing register on the trans to make it work.
66fs, thanks for the info. I really dont wanna go through getting the wrong parts again to any info helps. Plus ima do a little more...
Mr dodge, brewers shows different pedal assembies for 63-66, 67-69, 70-72, 73-75, and up. I dont know what all the difference is, but its kind of annoying trying to piece things together haha. I can get parts for my 65 bug like its a honda civic.
Sorry, heres some info.
Its a 73 duster. Slant six to 318 conversion. 67 la block with a 71 crank.
Slick chick, brewers told me i could do that, but just seeing if i could get the correct bell housing on trade or cheap (then sell my aluminum) so i dont have to cut anything in case of...
So I have a 4 speed trans. Pretty sure its an OD unit. I bought what i thought was the right bell housing and an Abody pedal set on here...the bell housing register is too small and the pedal set ended up being hacked up beyond salvation. Kinda my fault for making an ignorant buy. :oops...
I got a few parts left over grom rebuilding my abody. Just tryna clran out my garage so lemme know if you need anything.
1971 (I believe) 318 heads. 1.78 valves. Complete (minus rockers) but semi disassembled. Came off a running engine but could use a rebuild $50obo
Small block oil pump drive...
well my car is currently without an engine so im not sure if id have a problem or not. its just ive never seen that before. but thats good to know its normal. I justs didnt want the seats flopping around everywhere when i finally did get the car going
Hey guys I bought a front seat out of a 67 barracuda. It looks recently redone. But I was wondering if it was normal for those to not have a lock for the back rest. I mean, the back rest sits back firm but there's no lock. So to get in the back seat u just push the back rest forward. (Super safe...
Awesome! not a surfer myself but Im well aware of the surf history out here. Where bouts are you from? Inland or San Diego area seems to be the residence of most socal people on here lol
Its just a cruiser with a stock-ish 318. I live in southern Cali so I'm sure I dont need the heat flow as it hardly drops below 60*. But since I already have the felpro engine gasket kit (doesnt block off the port), I think im just going to run it anyways. Im not going for crazy horsepower...
i have a LA 318 im building up and i just put my heads on it. But when i went to mock up the intake I have a little issue. Check out the pictures. Im guessing he port in the center of the intakes, on the head is egr? Well my intake has provisions for the small rectangular port. but the half...
if I go through napa or another auto parts store they should have the part. But if I go to ACE or something I wouldn't know which size to get. Cam is already in the motor lubed up, so Id rather not take it all apart just to get the key
does anybody know what size the woodruff key is? the old cam was recycled and I didn't even think to take the key out. figured the new one would come with one
SO IM PUTTING NEW VALVE SEALS ON A 318 HEAD. I GOT A FELPRO MASTER GASKET KIT FOR 318'S. IT COMES WITH TWO PACKS OF VALVE SEALS (8 IN EACH PACK). ONE SET OF SEALS FITS NICE AND TIGHT OVER THE VALVE GUIDES AND SEEMS NORMAL. THE OTHER SET HOWEVER JUST FLOPS AROUND. FITS TIGHT AROUND THE VALVE STEM...
The block is a 67 LA318. but the crank is from a 73 318. so what your saying is i could use a jeep style bearing in a late model 318 converter register?
im rebuilding a 318 and plan on doing a 4speed swap (from a 904). I remember reading about having a special crank that works with the a833. Can someone refresh my memory? i dont want to rebuild the whole motor just to have the crank not work when it comes time to mate them together...
