    The motor has ran great, just had some smoke here and there and some consumption. It does not even have 1000 miles on it. I drove again yesterday for another 50 miles and drove it hard. She is running great! Hell i think there should be a infomercial for Bonami.

    I took a 1/4 teaspoon and with the throttle held at 2000 i slowly sprinkled into the carb. Closed the hood and drove it like i stole it for a half hour. It has never not smoked since rebuilding, now its fabulous!:happy1:

    Well another success story with Bonami, not even a 1/4 teaspoon down the carburetor and oil consumption and slight smoking gone! What a great way to solve the problem. I have doubted this in the past but figured what the heck, gave it a shot and worked wonderful. Thanks Bonami!:cheers:

    The vacuum at idle in drive is right at 12, i went from a 6.5pv to a 8.5. Yes i think after work today i will try and tinker with a heavier secondary spring.

    Ok, so i should have stated that i had taken measurements, and the only thing i was missing or failed to do was to c.c. chheck the heads as they were not the ones originally on the motor.     Hello Rick, yeah the heads have a casting # of 3418915 if that helps. I know I should have c.c. them but hey, if that's the only mistake I made I feel like I did ok. The rearend is the peanut 7 1/4" with 2.76, I am thinking of changing that to a 3.91 ratio when I come up with the 8.25 or 8.75...

    I will give it a go after work. On a better note i did pull the transmission back out, did my first 727 rebuild, and she works great, ran the lokar T.V. cable, and Lokar universal throttle cable. Will let you know if and what it took to get the door open. GRrrrrr.
