    '75 Duster front fender options

Are there any other A-body fenders that are interchangeable with a'75 Duster?

    FR60/14's on '75 Duster?

I have a nice set of FR60/14's, will they fit my '75 Duster on 14x6 Mopar rims? Disc brakes in front, & hd factory suspension.

    Police steel rim

Hi, - I'm assuming you mean the six oblong holes, right? Your best bet would be for someone to make a template from a rim for you. I'm sure that someone on here is able to do that, - unfortunately I can't. The other option would be to just estimate size/location. I would think that what you're...

    14x7 rally's or steelers?

Did Mopar ever make a 14x7 rally or steelie that would work on my '75 Duster (front disc brakes, big bolt pattern)? If so, what cars/years did they come on? Further to the above, is there any way to tell the width of a LBP 14" rally wheel when it has a tire mounted? I mean are there any numbers...

    Gauge clusters

What years of Dusters would have a gauge cluster with seat belt warning light, 120 mph speedo, & no windshield washer on the switch? Also, which other Mopars would use the same cluster? Thanks, - Dale.

[WANTED] '75 Duster Tail Light Bezel

Thanks for the reply, I will keep it in mind if this lead doesn't produce. Any idea how much you want for it?

[WANTED] '75 Duster Tail Light Bezel

Looking for a LH tail light bezel for a '73-'76 Duster - no broken studs, or bad pitting. Could also use the lens, but it's not necessary. I have a local lead that I'm waiting on, but would like to have some options if it doesn't pan out. I live in Langley B.C., and plan to go to the Mopar...

    Front sway bar size?

I'm planning to replace the end links & mount bushings on the front sway bar of my '75 Duster. I notice that all the suppliers list 13/16, 7/8, & 15/16 inch sizes for the mount bushings. I measured with my cheap calipers, & it looks like it a 7/8 to me, but I don't know how accurate I am. My...

    Portland swap meet. Anyone go?

I went, along with three buddies. Wasn't really looking for much Mopar stuff, but agree that there was little of it there. My biggest complaint about all local swap meets in general is that most sellers think that if a near perfect or refinished part sells on Ebay for $100, their rusty, damaged...

    '75 Duster intermittent brake problem

. My '75 has manual brakes, front discs. When I got it, it had a trailer braking system plumbed into the rear brakes at the master cylinder. I removed it a while ago, but recently have had a problem with the pedal soft at times, & sometimes going to the floor. I bled the rears, & planned to...

    Let's See Your Vintage Bikes

This is my late fathers 1937 CCM. He bought it when he was 15 years old (in 1937) from his uncle. He used it to ride to work for many years, with his lunch kit in the carrier box. I restored it a couple of years ago, as a tribute to him. The only new parts on it are the hand grips, seat cover...

What was your very first car?

1957 Pontiac Laurentian (Canadian) 283/220hp Power Pack (4bbl., dual exhaust, higher compression heads). Had a powerglide with aftermarket floor shift. Too bad it was a 4dr.

Big inch small block for street use.

My '75 Duster with slant six has all the suspension parts for a 360. I am thinking of going to a big inch small block. Any suggestions as to the biggest I could go for a reliable daily driver type engine? What would be the best block to look for? Thanks, Dale.

    Shipping from Canada to Ohio

Cost sounds about right for something that long. Shipping to a business wouldn't make a difference (at least with Canada Post). Check out Fedex, you never know! - Dale

    Shipping from Canada to Ohio

What was the method of shipping quoted? I ship quite a bit to the USA, and have always found Canada Post to be the cheapest & best. Unfortunately, a dash pad is going to be way over length, and that is what will up the cost dramatically. Weight doesn't make much difference when it's long. - Dale

    High Carbon Monoxide Level

Good news! I retarded the timing a bit , adjusted the mixture using a vacuum gauge, put the idle at 900 rpm, put in a new PVC valve, & removed the air filter for the test. It passed(just barely on CO at idle). Luckily, only one test next year, then no more emissions testing.

    High Carbon Monoxide Level

This car never had a cat, as all documentation indicates. It's a made for Canada car, and nobody has ever buggered around with it. Unless I find something else, I'll reset the mixture, up the idle speed, check timing, get it good & hot(thought it was last time), then retest.

    High Carbon Monoxide Level

All of the above are good, except for the valve adjustment. My problem is trying to figure out what made the idle CO reading jump up so much in 6000 miles. Thanks to everyone who's helped so far. - Dale.

    High Carbon Monoxide Level

Here, they test at about 40mph(driving), and at idle. My readings are: Hydrocarbons 100ppm driving/ 145ppm idle Carbon monoxide .20percent driving/ 5.28 percent idle(failure) Oxides of nitrogen 1428ppm driving test only All readings except carbon monoxide at idle (max 4.58 percent)are less...

    High Carbon Monoxide Level

I bought my '75 Duster, slant six, auto last year with 55,000 miles. A condition of the sale was that it would pass emissions, which it easily did, even though it ran somewhat rough. Since then, I've replaced air cleaner, plugs & wires, dist. cap, voltage regulator, alternator, & ballast...

    slant 6

This thread is interesting to me, as I have a '75 Duster, slant6, auto, with some odd parts. I'm no Mopar expert, but the car is all original, low miles, with build sheets. From what I researched, it has torsion bars & rear springs for a 360 car, heavy duty shocks, front discs & 10x2 1/2 rear...

Once you remove it, a good idea is to make a good colour copy of it, then keep the original in a sealed plastic cover. - Dale

    Plastic Welding

I've had good results using "Plastic Weld", a two part epoxy made by Permatex. Also, I've used a soldering gun and pieces of scrap plastic of the same type. Unseen repairs are easy, but doing a repair on a visible area with a grain to it is almost impossible to patch without it being obvious. - Dale

    Is this a factory stripe??

I have a similar stripe on my '75 Duster. It however, is a triple stripe, with the middle one being thicker. I'm pretty sure it's original, as the car has most of it's original paint, except the hood. The build sheet & fender tag show K5X. If it's not original, someone let me know. - Dale
