Thanks for the responses. The 318 that the wires would be going in is pretty much stock- 4 barrel, intake & exhaust. Mainly just looking to make it run the best possible, I don't drive it hard.

Are the MSD wires worth the extra $100? Blue Streak seems to be well built as well but not as low resistance as the MSD's. These would be going in a '72 318. Thanks!

Ya definitely leaning towards 6 leaf, might even see if they will go .5" over. Hard to find pictures and I don't want it to sit too high.

Did you ever swap out your springs for ESPO 1" overs? I want this look but not looking for a harsh ride. Pairing them with Koni shocks. I am torn between 3 ESPO options- 5 leaf plus 1", 6 leaf and 6 leaf plus 1"....

Ok gotcha, I've seen Proforged so will probably use them for some of the parts. I also saw that PST makes a front end rebuild kit, any thoughts on that one?

Anything to be worried about going with the Classic Industries front suspension rebuild kit for a '72 Dart? Car is bone stock suspension wise, just wanting to refresh the front end. Cheers,

Appreciate all the feedback, I'll post an update once I get the KYB's on. Not sure yet what I'll do with the blown Koni's but more than likely I will get them rebuilt and reinstall down the road.

Lots of different opinions... my gut feeling is the KYB's will be about the same as the Koni's that they are replacing...

The car has 27k original miles, the rear seems to sag a tad based on other swingers I have seen. I have thought about adding helper springs back there, what would you recommend? I'm looking to keep the ride as stock feeling as possible for the most part. Rebuilding the Koni's is growing on me...

What Monroe or Gabriel shock would you recommend? I'm seeing Monroe part#'s 31131 & 32022. The Gabriel's they have listed on rockauto do not have the same model for the front and rear. Really appreciate the insight and opinions on this!

It's a weekend cruiser, everything else is bone stock besides the Koni's which I had set on the firmest setting. At $200 per shock plus parts on a rebuild from Koni, Im definitely not interested in that route. Hmm... may try the KYB's out and go from there.

Currently running 215/70/14 Uniroyal's that are old but barely worn. Really wanting to upgrade to a 15" Mach 500 wheel with some nice rubber in the future.
