Yesterday i took my car for a spin it ran fine when i parked it .i got back in it later and i wound it up like i normally do once in awhile 6500 maybe close to 7000 going through the gears then i slowed down and noticed my gauges acting all funky .tach bounced all over and speedo to zero.so...

Do you lose the calibration settings if the battery is disconnected

the plug is near the the bulkhead I think maybe 8 or 10 inches long coming from the bulkhead or may it had its own grommet I cant remember but near there and went to the tranny my plug from 70 was not t shaped but more like the 2 outer lines on a W not quite parrallel

I have hookers and it didn't take long before they got dented on the bottom so when I finally pulled the dents out I welded an extra piece of sheet metal over the dented area to act as a skid plate

would oil through be a big problem I think I have oil through ones with a solid cam but the lifters have a small hole through them so I think they need to be that way

I have a set of gears that I think are 4.88 .they are 44 and 9 teeth and the pinion measures 1.75on the bearing journal 10 spline yoke end .they are Richmond gears . asking 100$ +shipping located in BC

I had a comp cam custom grind crap out right before they started recommending the special oils .I was just using regular off the shelf oil I bought same cam but went with the howards lifter with the oil hole through it and run royal purple so far been good

I was thinking about lighter oil because I think my high vol oil pump sucks the pan so low that my pressure will flicker . I thought thinner oil might flow back to the pan better

anyone use joe gibbs oil I was using royal purple 20/50 but was thinking about trying joe gibbs 15/50 full synthetic

just wondering if 20 /50 is over kill I have a 340 with a high lift solid cam that I wind up as high as 7000 rpm

I have a 1970 dart that I just rewired with ez wire kit I I am going to use a dash mount ign switch for a 68 but its a after market replacement it has a spot on it for a ground wire does it need to be grounded
