I have a 1970 dart that I just rewired with ez wire kit I I am going to use a dash mount ign switch for a 68 but its a after market replacement it has a spot on it for a ground wire does it need to be grounded

I cant imagine why, unless its lighted.

I 2nd that. The key switch only switches "high side", so shouldn't need a ground except for an internal lamp.
