    There should be a tiny hole in the middle of the latch knob on the front of the door. Stick a tiny nail or a straightend paper clip into the hole and disengage the lock that is inside of it.     slant 6 running odd

    What kind of carb does it have? for 1970 it should be a Holley 1920. These are the carbs that would flood out if you went around a curve too fast. Did you put the baffle back in the bowl when you rebuilt it? If that is left out it can cause a ton of problems.

    It really doesn't bother me that much to cut up a car. I have a wrecked 75 Duster that I used to restore my 74 /6 Duster. But what does bother is the general consensus that /6's are junk and are meant to be yanked. But the good thing abut this is that alot of guys have spare slants laying around...
