Sounds like a great fix. What I do is just turn the nozzle sideways and put it in. Then listen carefully as it start to fill.

Ok i was able to leave the brakes connected and on . Once i undid the 4 screws the shaft just slid out. So do i do bearing grease on outside of race when i reinstall it?

How do you push the axle shaft back into the spider gears?

Another question, how do you go about flushing out the differential with it on the car and jacked up?? I waved a magnet in there and tried to get the shavings, but is there a better way to flush it all out?? I have an air compressor.

Great info that's so much. I ordered the Motive kit on Amazon for $80. Now in the manual it talks about race and bearings on the axle shafts. Are those able to be reused or am I going to need to replace all that as well? I am hoping all I do is rent the axle puller, pop out the shafts...

where did you order the foam seal?

not used, though some people use it as a washer for the little hex screw that holds it on.

I have the same mirror on my 66 dart sedan. I do not think there is any repairing the looseness. Although I do think you can pop out the ring clip that holds the glass in, which would give you access to the inner part of the mirror.

are you talking about the triangle shaped washers? or the 2 round washers?
