i have a 63 dart convertible. i was told it is a gt. it has a gt hood. but that's it as far as GT parts that i can tell. inside doors have 270 emblems. the engine is a 225. it has bench seats. im thinking one of the PO's just installed the gt hood?

Has anyone diy'd replacement lines for the A body vert top hydraulics? I know the kit is 100 bucks readily available, but the kit looks like something i could piece together from Home Depot? Might give it a go....any idea what threads the fittings are? And should i go plastic lines or brass...
